I have several heros, though the most prominent in my life have been The Phantom of the Opera (AKA Erik, he taught me about love), Edgar Allen Poe (he greatly inspired my work, Herr. Frankenstein (taught me about rational thinking), that's all my heros.

Wow, it's weird to see a thread you started four years later. Man, I was an idiot back then. I'm surprised no one called me on it...

hmm lets see (randy rhoads)-- inspired me to start learning music, guitar that is i have many other inspirations for other aspects of music.

Eric Koston way back in the day inspired me to get on a skateboard and go crazy.

Alex Shulgin and Timothy Leary inspired me to open my mind- in many ways when I realized I had become narrow minded at one point in my life. As well as many o rainbow family.

My dear friend John Lutz (R.I.P.) inspired me in all of my art forms that I currently use today - psychedelic art in the forms of drawing, lightplay, wordplay (in a positive way), music mixing, and painting. He hung himself last year but his influence lives forever inside of the minds of many he had graced with his brilliance, not well known but a genious.

    PEACE

In 1986 a fireman in Northern NJ broke a window in my burning house , climbed in with an airpak on his back & in the pitch black smoke found my 2/ 1/2 yr old kid on the floor of his bedroom & carried him out.
The revived him (smoke inhalation) on the front lawn. Today is is healthy as can be -no long term effects at all.
Now to me, that Guy> Fireman Dennis Polinsky is a fuckin hero.

He is my hero after that story :) How great is that, what a legend. Hey, and one of my favourite shows is Rescue Me, with Denis Leary!

"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man."

Dealing with that subject matter on a daily basis would make anyone start to act psychotic. I wont deny that he acts crazy fired up and even foolish sometimes. But it is his form of alternative media that is keeping open an avenue of the free press. Infowars.com is an information clearing house of news from around the world, you just have to keep straight the news from the opinion....EXACTLY THE SAME WITH ANY OTHER NEWS OUTLET. I don't care what you say Alex Jones has balls for doing what he does. That or he's a government plant, but I doubt it.

Big ups to all of your heroes.
