    I don't see how anyone can have a 'hero.You can admire someone,things they accomplished,how they live their lives etc.By using the very word "hero" it puts someone on a pedestal that most likely they do not deserve.

    I'm a fan of Clement Atlee, Tony Benn, George Bernard Shaw and Bertrand Russel, modern wise, same with Pythagoras ancientwise.

    George Carlin is the one I can only really think of right now. There's a terrible amount of heroes but this man during my early teens lead me in an interesting direction.

    My best friend Kaylin Mathews. She's my hero because she passed away a week ago today and now I'm not afraid of death anymore. That was a huge step in my life because when you're not afraid to die, it's hard to be afraid of much anything else.
