Ho chi minh had a huge maount of trotskyists killed off in viet nam because tehy were bigger than the stlainist/maoist group. He wasnt a real communist. More of a nationalist than anyhting else.

I think it is very unwise to support any communist leader as many of them did not believe anything about communism, and moreover their lives proven to be the very opposite to the ideology.
