I can't pick one. Snipes, Samuel Jackson, and James Earl Jones (Darth Vader's voice, Conan the Barbarian, Soul Man...)
Funny, I posted in this thread before but came back because I completely forgot my favorite, and he's in the post right above me. James Earl Jones. Oh my god is this man amazing in every role. His performance in The Great White Hope would probably rank as one of top five performances of all time.
Actors Samuel L. Motherfuckin' Jackson, Ving Rhames, Morgan Freeman, Michael Clarke Duncan, Don Cheadle (especially Crash, and Talk to Me, also loved him on The West Wing), Richard Round Tree (Shaft) the late Isaac Hayes, Sidney Poirtier, John Witherspoon. Actresses: Pam Greer, Regina King (Especially on Boondocks). Peace Out, Rev J
Hmm...well there are several. Jaime Foxx is number 1 that dude can play just about any role they give. Then Samuel L Jackson and Morgan Freeman and tied for second.
Sidney Poitier: The Blackboard Jungle – 1955 The Defiant Ones – 1958 Lilies of the field – 1963 To Sir with Love - 1967 In the Heat of the Night – 1967 = 5ive Films of significance and performance, at a time when there were but few, and that paved the way for others to follow eace:
Is Dwayne Johnson black? I just know he is so fine, I don't care what he is acting in, it's a good movie! Denzel Will Smith
Isn't Chris Tucker in : Jackie Brown : ? "Ya ponytail wearin mutha fucka hell wrong witchu?" Or was that somebody else [should ask google]? My favorite black actor ? (...thinking) ...thinking I think I like Forest Whittaker (sp unknown) because you never can tell what kind of character he's playing. He looks so good, but he's cast so -bad- and I believe every minute of it Is Chris Tucker also Ruby Rod in 5th Element? Cuz if he's both... he's on the top of my list too
