    I went to this but I was in the dance tent, or more probably left before their performance.

    The Killers. Whenever they've been in the UK I've been working or some other thing so I've not been able to go, but hopefully one day :)

    I believe bill was never really part of the stones. he was more like hired help. he got paid per performance.

    At least they survived me. When I had to write a school essay on what I would do if I had tickets to a Beatles concert, my teacher was not amused at my four word essay. "spray them with insecticide".

    The only band that I ever had the misfortune of watching was a group who called themselves duran duran, although they consisted of more than two pompous idiots.
    The only good part was the £1,000 pounds that they paid me to attend, in order that more people could see their ugly mugs on a video wall while they bounced around to
    pre-recorded music tracks.

    I'm an old fart and saw Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon tour in June of '74. They played it straight through.
