People already started leaving the US years ago for places like Canada that actually have a higher average standard of living. Did Bernie supporters ever figure out that socialism is an economic construct, not political? For socialism to work (it never has), people have to cede their sovereignty to a de facto fascist government (complementary political construct of socialism) in exchange for free shit. It also requires an omnipotent government seizing property of others for redistribution. And these people vote? Then we wonder how we got so effed up.

 

Do you understand that we already pay taxes? And that we are already a mixed economy, which was exactly what bernie was advocating - a mixed economy, but one in which our taxes are taken and distributed fairly (keyword) and benefit the vast majority of Americans, not only the richest Americans.
