Who is more likely to go to heaven?

It's just a figure of speech. A what if scenario. Fine lets say he is very mild with sins.. there is such a thing as mildly sinning.. though these days everything is a sin so maybe that is hard to hold true.

But like when I brought up hitler..

Take that as an example VS the guy who has sinned by not believing in god witch seems like the biggest sin of all, and when it comes to other sins he has sinned very little.. but his sins were very minor. If the bible says to take all sins equally then it is on crack.

Common sense may help to come to a logical conclusion but it depends on the age your living in because in this age it seems nobody has good common sense. Common sense didnt tell you the bible calls no one good rather they believe in jesus or not the bible teaches us we are saved by grace not by our own actions soley but by repentance and a true change of heart after this God will bestow his grace upon us. When a man addressed jesus as good teacher jesus advised the man that no one is good but God and to me thats common sense. By the way its arrogant to claim no matter what i know Im a good person, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean you have made no mistakes or does it mean you havent sinned (missed the mark), does it mean you have no regrets and have never treated another human being or animal in a way you shouldnt have? Do you believe you never will? I think you should be more humble and realize the weaknesses of humanity.

 

You must show me this person that doesnt sin or mildly sins I have never witnessed a human being that did not make continuous mistakes, argue for nothing, hurt a loved ones feelings, have an unnecessary attitude, call people mean names, etc. you know what we do to eachother and you know the more devilish things we do too. The bible doesnt say what you are describing so be weary of disrespecting a book you have not studied in the languages it was written in we all know how an aramaic or greek word may have 10-20 ways we could translate it thats common knowledge. So be weary of english translations and the preachers that dont read or write aramaic & greek like the deceased Dr. Gene Scott. Bless his soul for helping me get over my human emotions and problems I had concerning contradictions and believing I was qualified to judge God. When you seek you shall find and what I thought were contradictions were shocking but praise God I didnt give up on truly seeking with the mind to accept the truth wether I like it or not.Last it is none of our business who God forgives because no matter what God will do right by us when we meet him right by his infinite definition not our finite definitions.

 

Also not believing in God is not the biggest sin jesus says the unforgivable sin is knowingly rejecting the holy spirit after it has been revealed to you.

 

The definition of sin is missing the mark which means not achieving your goals and you think thats made up? I have not really been quoting the bible I just been sharing the knowledge and wisdom I have learned and if you dont see the major differences between the bible and what so called main stream christianity teaches on TV and in public churches, which is the anti christ synagogues, then you are in denial and it is you who have been forced fed propaganda from satan himself. If you think some high people came together to make a book full of lies or their drug induced experiences why dont you try the same and prove it. Why dont you make a book with similiar claims and lets see how many people will follow, believe, die, fight, teach, rejoice over, call on in times of fear, and cry when they read it lets see. If its all about the book and not power go for it I bet you will not get the results of the gospel in any way shape or form. By the way the bible tells you the scripture has been manipulated (jeremiah 8:8) and the new testement tells you all scripture is profitable for reproof, correction, and instruction. You see Gods glory is not in scripture but it is in power so when you prove Gods name Yahweh has no power to heal and change peoples lives dramatically your criticism of christianity will hold up but prayer in the name of the one God you are bashing has helped billions and thats proven everyday. What reality are you saying I dont see? What does good is good bad is bad mean?

Christian people prove that the only one single most important thing in the bible is your relation with god. You could go through life with a lack of control, make false statements about Iraq, order an attack and cause a lot of innocent people to die and then still be able to go into heaven, after using a pack of lies for reasoning to attack a country. Do you even know the death toll? It isn't funny and it's disgusting that the dirty christians are getting there kids to praise bush like he is some messenger from god.

I don't think this is an error in logic. You may not agree with it but I don't think it's illogical. The Bible says that none of us are good. Not one. Yes, we do good deeds and by our own standards we might look pretty good but God's standard is not man's standard. God is perfect, His character is the definition of good and He is perfectly just. He will punish all sin. Every man will be punished according to the evil he has done. We will get what we deserve. Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, hated? You will only be punished if you are guilty. Are you guilty?

This is why Christ came to give us a chance to be forgiven because God loves us and the Bible says He is not willing that any should perish. We are not righteous on our own and can only be made righteous through Jesus Christ. He alone has died for our sin, nobody else has.

Becoming a Christian means you put your trust in Jesus Christ. It's more than just going to a church and taking on the title "Christian". It's more than just believeing that Jesus Christ is who He says He is. The Bible says even Satan and demons believe that and tremble. But they are not Christians. You don't have to do a lot of work to become a Christian either. All you have to do is realize that you are a sinner, repent of your sins meaning make a u-turn on the road of life from doing things your way to doing things God's way, and put your trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you.

But there is no greater sin of all than not believing in him because that is one of the main factors on wether you go to hell or not. It is a very unforgivable sin.

 

Well, again it depends on which Christian you ask. In the case of number one some Christians believe that people who are good people but don't believe in God will have a chance on The Day of Judgement. When God is revealed to them if they say they believe in God they will be spared. Some believe that no matter what it's hell.

For case number two some would say he is going to Heaven. Some would say hell anyway because you need to repent of your sins and just saying sorry on your deathbed doesn't count.

What do I say? I think it's a sin for people to say other people are going to Hell according to Matthew 7:1. So, I can't say. In life though I'd see myself hanging with 1 before I go near 2 though.
