What exactly do you do to broil something?

 

The broiler in my oven is high heat from above whatever I am cooking.....but that bun from Burger King looks food dyed...broiled would look different and not be necessarily uniform in color.

Food dyes are no good for people.

 

fast food is only scary if you know what's in it.

 

Not even real food. Food coloring on the bun, processed cheese product, some meat concoction....it isn't food!

 

Shit looks nasty and the black bun looks unappetizing ... no racist.

 

I didn't know prior to this thread that we had Burger King here.
I won't be trying the Halloween Whopper though.

I think rice is the main thing for Asians. I don't they feel awkward or self-conscious about it though. I suspect that if you asked most Asians about it, they'd say, "Yeah, Asian people eat a lot of rice".

I don't eat such things. I don't wanna take too many calories into my body. I don't eat hamburger. I don't drink Coke. I don't drink Alcohol. I don't put sugar into my tea or coffee.

i can't guarantee that i'll never eat one. just that i'm not going to go looking for a burger king to do so. (i don't even know where a burger king, in this town, reno nv, is) there is a place in my town, not a burger king, called fat burger, that is unabashedly what the name implies. far as i know it isn't a franchise. (no it isn't an orphaned remnant of the fat boy franchise as far as i know either. only ever saw one of those when i was up in oregon.) though it could be and i not know it. the burger patties are huge, at least a quarter pound each (possibly closer to half a pound), and you can have up to three of them in one bun. they're high fat content, but at least they taste like real dead cow, not 50/50 textured soy extender, which is what you get in just about every fast food franchise that i know of. not exactly marketed to the health conscious, but amusing, and i only tried it once.

 

Remember the Nazis propaganda films of the 1930s how they depicted Jews as being shiftless with big noses, well blacks in America went through the same thing only we were depicted as lazy, with big lips, singing and dancing, while eating chicken and watermelon with great relish
