Here in Japan, I don't have cable - in fact, my TV only has like five channels. That hasn't been too much of a problem.
We don't have it now but we are thinking about it hard. Satelite that is My son is a late night bird so at 3 in the morning with a baby on your lap who doesn't want to play, eat, or sleep Adult swim and BBC America make the world a little kinder.
We did have it but the cable company was screwing us so I stopped paying the bill. We never have trouble finding stuff to watch. PBS and Fox rule!
no cable... just what i can get with rabbitt ears.. Here in thewoods west of Gainesville, I get PBS and ABC stations that usually come in pretty good, and the ABC affiliate is the only station with a local newscast... Also get a CBS station (which oddly enough broadcasts some UPN shows like Star Trek Enterprise) that gets its local news from Jacksonville and a fuzzyily received Fox station out of Ocala which gets its local news from Orlando...
we dont get any tv at all, so i get my south park, futurama and aqua teen hunger force fixx with the dvds
No cable............I dont even have a TV. In fact I havent watched one in 6 months. I do miss my cartoons though.
We do not have cable here. It costs way too much. I only wish I had it during football season, so I could watch sunday night football. But, that is no reason for my wife and I to get cable. We barely watch tv at all. We both might watch Scrubs and the late night news here, but that is it..................... ~namaste~
i used to not have cable. but my husband and i moved back in with my father for the time being till we finally move to asheville to attend school. we have a t.v but do not plan on having cable. it drones out my mind and i have to leave the house to do my homework. i do not mind having my vcr and dvd player to watch movies and episodes of the simpsons and family guy on dvd but that is about it.
Unfortunately, we do have cable... but I wish we didn't! My husband is addicted to it. If he's home, the TV is on 24/7. If it was up to me I'd throw the damn thing out the window. Good riddance.....
I have cable but no tv. Kind of on purpose because I do distant learning so I keep everything that might distract me to a minimum. If I want to watch tv, I go to my friend's house just down the road. They don't have cable so its not a big attraction..
