The Illuminati? Please... This is part of some peoples desire for at least someone to be in control of our destiny.
the US is an oligarchy. i don't know if it's called the illuminati, who really gives a fuck what they call themselves. illuminati means "the lack of light" literally, for the record. i don't know, perhaps there's a deeper meaning to it all. and the huge conspiracy craze as of recently, i'm sure that it's a disinfo campaign. classic the boy who cried wolf formula. half of the famous conspiracists are probably cia agents. what fucks with people is they don't know who is and isn't. is david icke? alex jones? i don't know. but i know for sure, that the ones who have media attention like amy goodman and michael are agents. crazy fucking world we live in.
Illuminati means enlightened or illumined ones. Their symbol is the morning star, represented by the all-seeing eye of Horus, or Lucifer, which means "bringer of light." This is representative of hidden knowledge kept from the "profane," though has different connotations at a much higher esoteric level.
I dont think a radio show host from texas and a man who belives in reptilians would be ones to be in the cia hahahha you just made me laugh
Nobody controls the world, although some people try. If those that try are even half illuminated, they would know that total control isn't possible.
Of course it is, it is *entirely* possible. Next year, no, 50/100/1000 years from now with persistence... most definitely. If you have the power to send the world to war, you have the power to kill those who oppose, and instill fear into the population you wish to control... which in this case would be the world. Oh, its very possible... in fact it is the goal of those who control the world now... once such a system is in place, its heirs will be ensured totalitarian control until the end of time.
How can it not be possible when you have a dumbed-down, mass mind-controlled public who say "it isn't possible"? The fact is, a handful of people do control the world, and it really should be common knowledge to most questioning people. If you want to know who these people are, start looking at the money system. Most people are seemingly incapable of following the money. They don't understand that their elected officials are merely frontmen for something much bigger. So of course it's easy to say nobody controls the world, and that's because you don't see these people.
Its a fundamental aspect of physical nature, that of uncertainty, chaos and complexity. The only way to have total control is to be in a alternate universe with different laws of physics.
Be it specifically by the name Illuminati, Bilderberg, Freemasons, whatever, there is not a doubt in my mind that there is an elite group of people running the world.
There have always been crackpot conspiracy theorists. Some people just want to believe they are smarter than everyone else even though in real life they can't seem to achieve anything. Don't even bother asking for facts, they don't have them and get very angry when you expect things to actually be backed up with anything. Try reading the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Its an anti semetic conspiracy theory created by the Tsarist secret police, although most of it was actually plagiarised. Almost everything Rat says is basically a rip off of the Protocols, its the same shit. It gets updated and modified to give new generations of idiots what they want to hear, but its the same old Protocols. If 1% of the world are gullible fools that's a lot of people to keep conspiracy websites busy.
The test for skeptics and believers alike would be if someone like RON PAUL got elected into office. Because undoubtedly many of the futuristic CRAP that they wish to force on us using the excuse of "national security" will continue on unabated, no matter WHO is in office. The banks (money system), the CIA etc. will just keep on doing what they do. And finally people will realize that those types of institutions run INDEPENDENTLY of our government.
The evidence is progressive; This means that all of the evidence isn't revealed all at once, but you can definitely see a trend. Much of the evidence is in the past. All you have to do is look to history, and you can see dynamic parallels from ancient civilization with modern civilization. Look at ancient Rome, and look at modern America. There are obvious trends, and we're raising up the same exact ideals that destroyed nations, in the past. Ancient Greece fought Sicily, and the Greeks had a campaign saying that if you're against this war, then you are unpatriotic, and killed off their public heroes that talked bad about its government (Socrates was given poisons... they later felt bad and made a statue in his honor). Julius Ceasar had private armies. America has private armies (Blackwater). Rome thought that by spreading their political ideals to other peoples, that they were doing them a good deed. America feels the same way. You're with us, or against us - Same with America. Rome spread out their military so far out that Roman infastructure weakened so much that the nation collapsed onto itself. America has the largest military in the world, moreso than every nation in the world combined; Our own infastructure is suffering because of this. Emperors created false tragedies to get their people to back up their plans for conquest; Whatever laws they needed to pass, they did, because they had public sympathy. Same thing for America... I don't even know why I even have to point that out. Why is it so hard to believe that America is heading towards the same path? Honestly.
def zeppelin, that was freakin brilliant, thank you. Nice to hear someone else who stand with both feet firmly planted in common sense and comprehension. People think that because we're "civilized" (hahaHA) and technologically advanced that we're different than other societies of the past, when in fact all the modern advances do is change how the game is played out. The human psyche hasn't changed, and people abusing that knowledge hasn't changed. Hitler knew that in order to gain the support he needed he created artificial wars through rumors and media, and in the end he had the patriotism-intended approval for his genocide. We're not gonna be sitting around in a relatively peaceful environment and then some random evil dictator, or dictators, come running through town at three o'clock in the morning with screaming horns and neon lights, shouting that they are taking over the world while brandishing fully armored tanks and enormous weapons. All that will do is get everyone in defense mode, which is a baser instinct, which means massive uprising and chaos. No. The best killer is the guy who you invited into your home, introduced to your family, shared a meal with, and then smiles at you and hugs you while spilling your insides, which is what Bush and his admin have been doing and whispering that, "it's because he knows what's best." We have been told that the Patriot Act is "patriotic" even though it carefully destroys our Constitutional rights. We have been told that we need to sacrifice freedom in order to obtain liberty. Exactly what you said about Rome is what I've been saying, and no one seems to get it; History always repeats itself, and America is the only "Rome." Finally, even if there ISN'T a conspiracy, then there's still something wrong with America's dwindling rights, cause if an ultimate corrupt power isn't stripping Americans of their rights then it's the US Gov doing it, and they still need to back the hell off.
Whenever I tell others that our civil rights are being suspended, they tell me: "What rights have been taken away from me? I still live the same life as I was before - Nothing has changed". When I respond to them with: "Well, it doesn't matter if YOU personally feel the effects, what matters is that these civil rights are suspended and it is only a matter of time before they are abused, if not directly towards you, then to someone else for reasons that we don't yet understand". And as soon as I say that, they laugh and take me as a fool. Lewis Black said it best when he said, "It's like being on the Titanic every single day and being the only person who knows what is going to happen"; That is exactly how I feel. We're all sinking, and not many understand that it's happening. What's worse, is that those that do understand, explain to others, yet others completely deny it as something silly. There is only so much you can do... It's a dreadfully helpless feeling.
I wholly agree, to the point that I've been in tears, knowing that there are so many who will die as a result of denial. As much as I hate them, I cannot deny that the conspirators have done their work well, the control the media has over the people is irrefutable. What's worse is that I cannot give up. I cannot in good conscience stop trying, because I know that if I wake up one more person to the reality, it's worth it. Besides, if I stop I might as well be sitting on their bench
Def Lessons can be learnt from history but direct comparisons very rarely stand up to scrutiny. It often comes down to how it is viewed and interpreted. ** Ancient Greece fought Sicily, and the Greeks had a campaign saying that if you're against this war, then you are unpatriotic, and killed off their public heroes that talked bad about its government (Socrates was given poisons... they later felt bad and made a statue in his honor). “As an outspoken critic of democracy and the principles that underlie it – for example, the notion that the majority will tend to choose wisely – Socrates (or perhaps his pupil Plato, who is our main source about the great philosopher) seems to attract fewer and fewer fans. Even Socrates' execution can be seen as understandable given that he had spoken critically of democratic regimes and fraternised with some of the Athenians responsible for overthrowing the government.” That is overthrowing the democracy to establish a pretty bloody oligarchy called the thirty tyrants (a leading member being Critias a personal friend of Socrates) this establishment oligarchy executed hundreds and exiled many more for their dissenting opinions. Try reading this essay at - http://www.channel4.com/history/microsites/H/history/c-d/democracy/athens/who_killed_socrates/index.html ** Julius Ceasar had private armies. America has private armies (Blackwater). It has been argued that the fall of the roman republic can be seen as a class war. It was a struggle between political movements one championing the poor and the other the power of the established order, the ‘populars’ and the ‘boni’. Once the army became filled with the poor (after Marius) then it was likely to fight for its own class interests. But those armies were still part of the state. What the Emperors did was basically establish a welfare system with the army on a regular wage with a pension plan. It was the end of ‘democracy’ in the higher ends of the Roman political system but that had been a bit of a sham for some time. (try reading Scullard's 'From the Gracchi to Nero') Blackwater is more of a mercenary force independent of the state (but used by it, similar to Auxiliary forces in the roman state) but from what I know the leadership of this force is more right wing and establishment in character (try Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army, by Jeremy Scahill) ** Rome spread out their military so far out that Roman infastructure weakened so much that the nation collapsed onto itself. America has the largest military in the world, moreso than every nation in the world combined; Our own infastructure is suffering because of this. I’m unsure what you mean by this jumping from Caesar to the ‘collapse’ seeing as the Western Empire survived about another 450 years and the Eastern Empire about another 1500 years after Julius Caesar death. As to the supposed infrastructural weakness of the Roman state there are differing viewpoints try reading The Fall of the Roman Empire: A New History of Rome and the Barbarians by Peter Heather **
To me the whole conspiracy theory spiel seems to be about either pushing a right wing agenda while claiming it isn’t or is about getting people to waste their time chasing their own tail. For the former think about the John Birch Society (much loved by such people as Ron Paul) and the many right wing libertarian copy cats. As to the latter just notice how any real political discussion can be subverted into a shambles by claims of hidden roots and unseen puppet masters that ultimately disappear up their own fundament. As to the Illuminati try this - http://www.atheists.org/Atheism/roots/enlightenment/
