You're not paying attention. As I've pointed out, the Catholic Church claims that it's up to it so say what is to be taken literally and what figuatively.
I've wasted enough time on a goon like you who makes baseless accusations and then backs off when asked to substantiate them. BTW - I never said you are a liar - I think most likely you do believe the guff you post.
It is my belief that everyone has a light & dark side in them. Some let a specific side dominate their ideals. Like light. To me the light controlled are naive. They live in a false reality. They don’t accept things that are in front of them. They sometimes make excuses. Say a son robs a bank. The mother won’t want to believe it was him. “No he was here with me. No you got the wrong person my son would never do that.” Then you have the dark side. Each side varies. Dark side in my opinion do things they know are wrong but they don’t seem to care. Like stealing from your job. You know there’s a chance you could get caught but you rationalize it.
Who has more control of our thinking; God or Satan? First, God doesn't want to control our thinking, to do so would take away our free will. Like all loving fathers God gives us rules and guidelines to help us try to get the best out our lives but has no interest in controlling our thinking or our lives. Satan on the other hand has no such compunctions, he wants to control us and our thoughts. Being imperfect, we have to work hard to think God's thoughts but all we have to do is relax to think Satan's thoughts and thinking Satan doesn't exist makes it all that easier to let Satan control our thoughts.
We can role play. You be God. I'll be Satan. I have more control over what people think than you do, Yahweh! (I'm saying this in a sneering voice.)
