Too big of a job for him to have pulled off alone... he just started the process.

JFK is overrated because didn't have time to screw anything up. Plus he nailed Marilyn Monroe...

And he got his head blown off on camera.

i think its cool that jimmy carter never fired a bullet or a missile while president..so that is under rated..It seems Obama should have made a bit more head way..so that is over rated

Abe Lincoln. He succeeded in keeping the union together, but everyone thinks he was such a noble man that cared about all people and he wasn't. That's what bothers me.

Eisenhower is my favorite. I like JFK too. Both great presidents.

JFK might have been overrated as a president, but I personally like him a lot. I think he had good principles.

I think ol' Abe Lincoln is definitely our most overrated president.

I think Jimmy Carter is our most underrated.

Eisenhower did a lot of fucked up things concerning the Congo. He conspired for the assasination of their democratically elected president; he's one of the reasons the Congo is in such dire straits now.

Everybody does fucked up things. Eisenhower was a 5 star general before he was elected, and he helped win world war 2. i think that little congo thing could go unnoticed for all the great he did for the US, and the world.

Its not exactly a "little congo thing." More people have died in the various conflicts in Congo than died during WWII. That attitude is exactly what enables America to turn a blind eye while our leaders play puppet with African governments and allow the slaughter of millions of innocent people.

i'm aware. I stand corrected, I read that statistic a couple of months ago but now I can't find the reference; however, the Congo conflict is considered the deadliest war since WWII; 5.4 million people died in the conflict between 1998and 2008. However, if you consider the people that have died in the Congo since Eisenhower staged the coup in the 50s, I am certain the casualties approach WWII numbers, but I can't find any specific numbers.

either way, its not something that can be brushed aside as "that little congo thing."

Blaming one man for millions of people killing millions of others is stupid in itself.
