You know, earlier I thought I had a stronger opinion on the likely president, but now it's to the point where I think anyone making any bold predictions is totally guessing.

Of course McCain will have the upper hand in polls while there are 2 democratic candidates fighting. I don't think that shows much long term momentum on his end.

I'm sure he's not convincing enough to make the war a selling point for his campaign, which is what he's trying to do now.

Then again, I can't be sure at this point.

You actually think electing a deomocrat will make a radical change? What radical change happened after we elected a democratic congress?

The only way the American people can effect change is to refuse to vote along party lines. Hold each candidate accountable and if they don't live up to expectations, vote them out. That way they have no stability, they can't actually form allegiances with big money, because who knows who is going to have influence from year to year.

At this point following this election on strictly a marketing viewpoint, it's like the game is being thrown to McCain. If the Democrats had been serious about electing a democrat, there would have been offered a stronger candidate. We have a Clinton with an exagerated/falsified experience quotient who from time tries to use the "woman's" card by trying to appear helpless and put upon (but who can really believe that), and an obviously affluent black man with an islamic name...doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that they are trying to lose.

Electing a democrat will make more of a change than electing a republican that's for damn sure.

I totally agree with you here.

Are you joking?! The republicans nominated McCain....McCAIN! The guy still wants to stay in Iraq and he knows shit about the economy. Besides Huckabee he was the weakest Republican canidate AND HE WON! When it was just him and Huckabee it seemed like he was running by himself. McCain is running with totally unpopular views, I think he was elected just to lose. You know to make people over look the woman and black thing and just vote for a dem. IMO

It's going to be John McCain.

    This isn't even a debate.

    He will be the President.

People who want to ignore the obvious Democrat supporters who will not vote for Barrack along with the large majority of U.S. citizens that don't like blacks.

Oh my, it won't even be close, I already have a $200 bet on McCain winning in a landslide.

Feel free to quote me in November.

That's probably the most important issue to look at in a presidential candidate, how often they shit their pants.

I don't want some old white fuck to be president, seriously... don't you think we've had enough of them over the years? Not to mention he probably knows he's about to croak so he's desperate to have another McWar so he can take as many Arabs down with him as he can.

I mean who can vote for this freak and honestly think that he'll steer our country in the right direction?

If "Macho Man", John "Rambo" McCain wins, I'd be laughing my ass off.

How he gonna finance an endless war with Iraq, maybe next, with Iran, and who know which other country next, while our country is trillions and trillions of dollars in the hole. :jester:

Eh, don't even think about starting a landwar in Asia and taking on China, who by the way, are one of our financiers in this stupid war with Iraq.

Neo-conservative war monger cunts are laughable, they use their ass to do their thinking. :jester:

It's laughable until they're the ones in charge!

And make no mistake about it, there is no "maybe".. if he becomes president, we ARE going to have another war. He's publicly stated many times that we should be bombing Iran right now, and that if he was president we'd be there in a heartbeat. If that happens I honestly don't know what I'll do. I wouldn't want to be a U.S. citizen, that's for sure.

    Bingo!

EXTREMELY wealthy fucks who are bored of spending their money and need a new hobbie, wasting money to become President.

I mean my parents are wealthy but they don't have hundreds of millions and want to be prime minister.

U.S. politics is a joke in itself.

Still though if you're asking me who I think will be the next President, it will be John McCain, hey, if I had it my way I'd have a Mr. Potato Head Doll be head of state of the United States, but it's not up to me.

    Ya, exactly. Bush 2.0.

Bush already set it up for the next president to have even more control over the government.
