The people that say "Money isn't everything" are quick to point to multi-millionaires and multi-billionaires as "successful people" and call them "Pillars of the community." Given HOW those people make their HUGE MONEY ....... calling them "pillars of the community" is laughable. Most are liars, cheaters, deceivers, abusers, polluters, scofflaws, tax-evaders, etc.

 

Here in the U.S., thanks to the CORRUPT, IDIOTIC decision by our "Supreme Court"(???) in the corporate, big money corruption dream-come-true called "Citizens United" - campaign contributions and bribes are all the same thing ... at least from the corporate side. Thanks to that P.O.S. decision by the "court" - the more money you have to lavish on politicians - the better. Dark, untraceable money is now delivered by the train-load ..... and here's a little secret ........... it ain't gonna benefit any of us as individuals !!! The new legislation and changes to existing laws that all that HUGE MONEY buys - will benefit the corporate elite CEO's and the very top executives, and the interests of them and all the VERY RICHEST in this country. That "Supreme Court"(???) decision legalized bought & paid for CORRUPTION. Whoever has the most money gets the laws written FOR THEM.

Does the term "dark money" sound like a good thing to anyone?? Hide a few bucks from the tax man & see what happens. But if you literally BUY politicians to custom-tailor laws for your monetary benefit ( as corporations are now allowed to do, via "Citizens United" ) - hey .............. the "court" said it's legal. THAT hidden, dark, untraceable money is OK.

Individual political contributions have limits .... and they must be publicly disclosed.

Can anyone else hear all the laughter coming from behind hand-carved, solid cherry doors??? Smell the smoke from hand-rolled Cuban cigars?? Hear the glasses clinking filled with fine, single-malt Scotch??

 

The government has got so corrupt, there is no fixing it. If charges are brought against a top seated politician, some judge will kick it out of court. End result. They are Above the law. Only help we have is from a higher source. So pray to GOD.

Chances are , … your opinion of the most evil person is based upon what you have been told to believe, by someone else with possibly-ulterior motives. (Barring, of course, anyone bringing harm to children)
I have frequently been warned about various people who have been referred to me for medical care. After meeting the “questionable individual”, I have determined that the warnings are often based upon bias of the informant, and not first-hand knowledge of the person in question.
My advice: Take it EZ, and don’t judge anyone until you have walked a mile in his/her shoes.
