humans are boring. ideas are interesting. that's what i go anywhere for. online included.

probably occam and darrel mostly. everybody else once in a while. once in a very great while some.

i do wish there were more who were less adamantly anti-hippie or those who seem to think it was about getting stoned. nothing against those who weren't arround, but sheesh, quite buying into the crap scammed up by the media to discredit what we really were and about.

almost no real hippies ever drank alcohaul or hung out in mainstream bars. this was because many of their parents had been alcohaulics and the pot thing started out as a way of NOT getting addicted to booze. i'm mean they saw things about the way their parents were and the way their parents had been doing things and wanted to do things in ways that did less to screw up the world all of us have to live in. and many, most of them, actually did succed in braking the mold and getting away from the default imitations of their parents they would otherwise have become.

that was the whole motivation at the very root of it. that and creativity and mellowness.
