I really can't say wether I liked the CSN concert I went to in August or the Rush concert in May better... I mean... if I had to, I would compare Rush with CSN... but that's kinda awkward for me, you know. But they are comparable in goodnesses, yet totally different...:p.... not only that but I think Neil Peart is the best drummer since Mitch Mitchell. Even their website is the best band site I've ever seen.

The professor :)... Rush is a jam band on steroids, speed, and acid.

Also, both groups are progressive, just in different genres. Definitely the same in goodnesses. Geddy Lee is the reason I play bass. When I was in grade7 I memorized the entire bass anthology. Oooo, yes, great band indeed.

That's strange hearing Rush described as a jamband, I've never thought of them like that. I'll have to listen for it. Rush is just in general so over the top...and I just dig it. Anyways:

Eric Clapton, Don Vilet, Warren Haynes, Jerry Garcia, Raul Midon, Trey Anastasio, Frank Zappa, Lou Reed, James Brown, Carlos Santana, Thom Yorke, Ed Greenwood, Duane Allman, Derek Trucks, Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, and John Mayer.

Morrissey, flea, Nicolas Godin, Jean-Benoit Dunckel, Tony kanal, John Paul Jones, Jimi hendrix, Johnny Marr, John Frusciante, Slash and the rest of led zeppelin. maybe mark knopfler as well. he's sort of cool, although i wouldn't want to admit to it.
