It is true but it's only one side to the story It is propaganda because it doesn't show people being tortured and killed under Saddam's rule
both sides produce prpoganda... that's why we have to look at both sides... it's so difficult to find a reliable source that tell the WHOLE picture....
"So fuckin' liberal?" Then how do you explain the fact that during their inauguration coverage, CNN had more conservative guests than liberal guests 10 to 1? The idea of a "liberal media" is a right-wing hoax. However, I suppose that now you'll tell me that FOX News is "so fuckin' liberal," too.
Now, if you said FoxNews I would understand, it's super-conservative. CNBC is pretty conservative. PCNC I would even kinda understand (they tend to be more subjective). CNN is almost as liberal as the Daily Show
I've noticed that the word liberal has really become more of a psychological construct, a crutch if you will, for people to lean on who have little or no grasp of reality. I am a proud member of the RBC.
You must be joking. Did you ever read any of the facts behind his films, or check up the statistics. It 99% bullshit.
I wouldn't call it 99% bullshit (there is much more than 1% fact in his films, wether you like it or not), but it is propaganda all right. But hey, there is plenty of far-right propaganda to compensate for the hurt feelings left over from Moore's films. And only hard core conservatives actually call CNN liberal NPR, CNN, and BBC are the places I go to for news. I don't need bias, I can add my own bias after reading/hearing the story.
The gist of this thread is noble. That site has some interesting info on it as well as many others around the net. Hard facts on their own are no propoganda, merely truth. imho, as far as mainstream media, they're all on the take, bottomline $$$.
...then by definition you are very conservative. That or you lack any real understanding of what these things mean. Being independant has nothing to do with it. It doesn't have to do with alliance. I think your perception is probably very skewed.
