Oh no I live in canada it's way too cold for that. It's just spring now but the snow isn't all gone yet. It's very slushy and wet from all the salt people put in the streets to de-ice in the winter, so combine that with like -20 degree weather and I think I'd lose both my feet to frostbite pretty fast...
Definitely! I went on another little excursion today! Just a short walk near my place. The grass that is free of snow now is a bit squishy and wet which I liked, but very cold still.
This morning dressed in short denim shorts and a tshirt. i went to a place called Botany in Auckland NZ. Had a massage, walked around brought some stuff. Went to a household store took some pics of my shopping feet. Went home did some chores got changed into a long tight pair of levi jeans and then went to do the weekly food shop with my man. ahhhhh bliss. Now i sit checkin in with he hip and sipping my vodka and craƱberry.
I spent the last 2 days almost completely barefoot and it feels great! I even went downtown for 420 barefoot.
I'm sure even you don't shower in your socks. Next time you take a shower, use that as your entry point to start experimenting. Don't put your socks on when you're done.
Yesterday I joined some pretty exclusive company...I ventured into Dunkin Donuts barefoot. Later I took the subway home barefoot and also made a pitstop at Seven Eleven for tea.
I'm back at my summer job where I don't have to wear shoes! I spent the last 3 days barefoot. I'm surprised my feet aren't more sore since I walked over a lot of gravel. I guess they didn't lose much of their toghness over winter!
I walked barefoot downtown yesterday . I walked around for abut two hours. It felt sooooo liberating. No funny looks though.
10 kilometer (=6.3 miles) bicycle trip trough town while barefoot, now that the daytime temps are finally above 20 Celcius (=68 Fah) again. Pedals were slightly uncomfortable to operate this way, since they pressed against my foot bones unpleasantly. Regardless, weather and time permitting, I might do an even longer barefoot bike trip later this summer.
Other than yesterday (when I decided to just shut up, put some sandals on and look presentable to go to the salon and shopping with my mom), I haven't worn shoes in about a week!
