I take that back. What the hell was I talking about? I've re-watched it a couple of times, and it totally makes sense... it's just shown in an abstract and untraditional manner. I've come to really like it, too. Now I'm waiting in anticipation for the DVD release of Inland Empire next month! Now, I'd say the oddest movie I've seen is Tetsuo: The Iron Man. Many describe it as "David Lynch meets David Cronenberg." It's certainly odd, and a real accomplishment, but I don't feel like watching it again--it made my head hurt. Recommended for fans of the odd and insane.
I cant believe no one said Blade Runner, that was a really weird one. Rocky Horror Picture Show for sure, its also awesome i love that movie. pretty much any Tim Burtan movie (edward scissorhands, nightmare before christmas, mars attacks, beetlejuice...). since almost everyone is saying eraserhead i really want to see it now.
ya o my god definatly Eraserhead there is no other movie like it. Its amazing! Its soo weird talkin to other people who have seen eraserhead. All my buddies except a few have never seen it or do not like it wat soo ever. Its such an awesome movie. I love the dinner seen when the chick just starts freakin out and the chicken legs start moving oooh that movie is awesome but i agree with u and the other dude 1 million percent
any movie with johnny depp (edward scissorhands, fear and loathing in las vegas, charlie and the chocolate factory)
safety of the objects. ok, it's not thaaat weird, but it's the only i can think of right now. i liked it, though.
I kept reading this as "the oldest movie you guys have ever seen" and i think this guy did too, haha. I agree with the OP, Eraserhead by far. It was so weird it was almost uncomfortable and scary.
oh god... my boyfriend made me watch "traces of death" it was horrible-film footage of actual, real deaths. NEVER EVER watch it! what ever happened to baby jane weirded me out a lot. and for some reason mother dearest. donnie darko was mentioned a lot i noticed, but it doesn't really seem strange to me. i couldn't follow naked lunch however.
i really don't like that movie.. i don't like movie with some killing portion!:-( everytime i remember that movie.. I'm having a goosebumps..
Just re-watched Heavy Traffic on Youtube. Also saw it at the Electric cinema in London several decades ago. It is mostly a feature length cartoon with some actors before the camera shot on location. At one point there is colour negative footage of some strippers. Not a great deal of story, crazy but watchable. Heavy Traffic (1973) - IMDb
