I went to Prague's sex museum a couple weeks ago and watch a couple of 1920s hardcore porn films from Spain. Pretty amazing, that they were so old, but I wouldn't watch them for eroticism.
what do you think about 'fear and loathing in las vegas' that is the weirdest movie i have ever seen.
Get the Director's Cut. I was mildly confused at first, but the Director's Cut clears up everything. If you can read pretty quick. Don't ask.
I haven't seen most of the films mentioned so far... Anyway, mine would be "The Idiots" by Lars von Trier.
In alphabetatestical order: Eraser Head Gummo Doom Generation Wonderwall Meet the Feebles And I loved ever odd second of them.
Fear and Loathing is definately one of my favorite movies. It made very little sense, till I ate 4 grams of shrooms before watching it. Then everyting came together. Has anyone seen the movie 'House?' It is by far the most odd damn movie I have ever seen. I think it was meant to be a horror flick in its day, but by God that movie is hilarious. Take this one scene for example: The guy sees something fly into his medicine cabinet. He opens the cabinet, and its a door to a pitch black nothingness. He ties a rope off in the bathroom and jumps inside. Some wierd ass fliying monster cuts the rope and he falls into some water. He swims to shore only to realize he is in the middle of the vietnam war. It keeps that pace throught the entire flick.
MAY the original and mordern "charlie and the chocholate factory" i can't think which one was the oddest High Fidelity - i love the film though lol
Donny Darko was pretty wierd. I was a tad confused by Layer Cake the first time I saw it because the movie kept skipping and with the accents it was impossible to understand what was happeneing at all times.
Inland Empire, the new David Lynch movie nashy61, is your name based on Rick Nash #61, if so you rock
ha, thanks. Also, I just watched Little Miss Sunshine last night. I know this is a bit OT, but I thought it was awesome. I struggled to find the message of it, but it wasn't really odd. I just had to say that the movie was great.
Probably "Eraserhead" for me as well... I honestly don't think it's supposed to make sense. Does anyone know if Lynch had an LSD habit back in the day? Yes, Melies made some crazy early films. Even stranger than "A Trip to the Moon" is "The Impossible Voyage" and "The Eclipse."
oh god, i want to see eraserhead soooooo badly, i have no idea how to get it i absolutely love odd movies, especially the midnight cult classics, pink flamingos i watched a christmas movie at like 4am around the holidays and it was crazy, santa claus (1959) someone else saw the lost skeleton of cadavra? wow, i loved it, such an insanely funny movie made by 8 people i loooooove odd movies
