PA is harsh as hell. I had 4 friends get caugh smoking ONE joint!!! And thats all they had on them and they were arrested. And to top it off, a couple narcs had followed them from a loca smoke shop, walked over a mile to the middle of the woods, and waited for them to light up. You would think they would have more important shit to do like i dunno...bust meth labs or some shit like that, not bother a couple high school kids with weed.

police here wont do anything more than a fine, if even, for under 100 grams. some police in suburbs can be dicks since theyve usually got nothing better to do. columbus police are pretty relaxed about it.

 

I'm not sure what the exact laws are in New York, but they're definately not that harsh. If you're caught with a small amount you'll usually just get charged with unlawful possesion and pay a small fine. My brother was caught with around 4 oz a couple of years ago, in addition to violating probation, and he got 4 months in a county jail. Not bad for a repeat offender. lol The police in my town are assholes and like to get young kids and hippies, but nearby cities like Rochester are a lot more lax.

 

holy crap, for possessing paraphernalia you get jail time? that's crazy, man. the cops here are pretty big dicks too (at least in this part of BC) - there are lots of junkies around town so they tend to get worked up about drugs, weed included. still, they need to get their weed from somewhere - i think most cops will just take your weed and smoke it themselves. other than that, its prolly safest to just give them your weed if it's under a few grams if you're caught red-handed. they will usually be pretty relaxed about it... they got bigger fish to fry.
