Me too. And Hummblebee's dreads are some of the most inspiring that are around on the net, and definitely one of my personal favourites. :)

She's on that 'other site' now....I know there's a story behind that whole shindig and that it's full of internet dramz. But i'll just ignorently nod politely. That was way before my time.

Yeah, I can barely even follow real life drama. Its not that I am superior and don't bring myself down to the level of drama and gossip, it's just it always passes me by. Then when someone tries to fill me in I'm clueless either way. I suppose I prefer it anyway.

i still don't get whats up with the 'other site' and all the drama. whats up with the not saying names, getting banned, leaving...wtf seriously. makes me wonder if someone's afraid of loosing money with adverts when they loose people or something? why does internet stuff have to turn into some elitist shit even with peaceful communities and stuff...the communities serve us as a place to come and discuss stuff/share pictures/whatever with people all over the world, connected only by a keyboard and a screen, its not us who serve the communities or however to put it. why cant it all be...free and beneficial to everyone.

another rant again, i prolly dont even know what went down...but...why cant we all be friends. its the internet, dont take it too seriously.

Lol, I lurk and hear bits and pieces of the story but i won't get involved or ask about the specifics. I like this site alot, and the other site is decent(Not much activity going on sadly, but their inspirational thread is wicked.) I wouldn't want to get kicked out of either just for this he said she said drama crap.
    Anyways....
    Come hither Soaring Eagle!

What is the "other site?" I don't know. Gah I'm stupid but... Does it start with a K and the second bit an L?

I do not know of this site you speak of (But do tell more!)
I am talking about a site that has the word truth in it and the first word is a common theme here.
Those are the clues I am giving out for now.

if you're going to revolutionize anything, you wont be doing it in this thread. if you have a problem with something, don't go ahead and defy the site while on the site's terms because that doesn't help anything. you signed an agreement before you could post here, so you can't be headstrong with these things.

I'm not defying this site at all. I'd recommend it to anyone who was interested in dreads and was thinking about growing them. I think it's really good with lots of good information on it and that's all I'm going to say on the matter, no more.

Maybe I was something with "moon" in it or gaiachild? I don't remember! I was gaiabee for quite awhile though.

Now that I think of it, Dakota Rain (or variations) was a pretty common name on hipforums back in the day. Weren't people able to use the same user name as someone else back then? I think that's part of why they changed the forum? That name just rang a bell with me for some reason.

I can't remember, but I know I used it for a long time and the forums were more community like for me. I think most people knew me as Dakota Rain (I feel invisible as Advaya) and I don't know who else used the name. It was so long ago. I should check the archives and see what I wrote back then, except it'd be super embarrassing.

I know... that's the thing about the internet... there are now permanent public remnants of everyone's embarrassing adolescent years :)

No, I have not heard from her. I sent her several messages on AIM but she never replied, I also emailed her but did not hear back. Have you?
