Well I'm from the Gold Coast lived here for almost 30 years. I moved here from Lismore, which is about a 30 minute drive inland from byron Bay. And yes I remember the 70's like it was yesterday.Yes I know it seems I must be old, I love the beach that's one reason I am here not because it's the tourist capital of Australia, but because it's not that far from where I grew up.

 

I'm a Brissy girl, but moved to the US 13 years ago.

let me tell you, Australia ROCKS, you guys need to appreciate it more. You don't realize how fucked up everywhere else is until you experience it!!!
