I said Florida in page one. I use to live there and i miss the heat and atmosphere. The type and amount of training i did wouldn't be believable. So i know i can take extreme heat pretty well. I was thinking Arizona might be a good place to reside as well.
I'll Stay Right Where I Am Thank You......I'm Very Happy Here......Only Thing Missing Is It Would Be Nice To Have A Beach A Short Drive Away...... Cheers Glen.
I’ve been to Florida a few times but in each instance it was during the winter so I enjoyed the reprieve from cold and snow. Btw I was almost assigned to Eglin Air Force Base, near Valparaiso, Florida
I don't even go to the beach lol everyone who knows I'm from here they go wow you must be going to the beach and Disney all the time. Like, I'm Italian but I have fair skin and I burn and I have curly hair that doesn't cooperate. So I will forgo the beach and the humidity that comes with it lol
I could deal with the Florida heat if I had a beach to go to. The reason I don't say Florida is the hurricanes. And I'm not talking about the football team. There are lots of places I wouldn't mind living. San Diego, Pittsburgh, central jersey, north east Virginia. Chicago or Boston if I could afford a summer home.
I would still visit this place! Before my morning swim Seriously: Florida beaches seem a worthy destination for me! I could go on vacation in winter (to the north naturally! Or the rockies!)
I think any club hub would be cool. Except for maybe Miami because I'm frightened of their hurricane season. Of course those places are typically expensive; beyond the realm of affordability. But if we're just wishing, I think Ibiza might be cool; if only I could learn Spanish.
Most of the towns and cities that I have visited in Florida have been either awful or uninspiring, I must say. An exception is Coral Gables. I would like to visit Gainesville, Jupiter, and Boca, and Pensacola before I really rule out Florida. The weather is honestly Florida's saving grace (although some would consider it a curse, as the sticky humidity and oppressive heat can wear thin). I want to like Florida--I adore hot weather and the ocean. But the culture, countless strip malls, and insufferable traffic make it hard to love.
