I currently don't have dreads. I've had them in the past (about 10 years ago), but brushed them out before they could really mature. I did them myself and they looked pretty good, but they definitely could have been better. For the last 6ish months I've started thinking about doing them again. But this time I want to get them done by someone else, preferably with the crochet method. Someone with a bit more experience. Really the only thing stopping me is the cost. I was quoted $600 by one person in my area (just based off some pics) Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that's unreasonable for a professional. I'm just trying to find something between free and half of that stimulus check. I'm in the Tampa, FL area if anyone knows of someone with dread skills, but maybe doesn't do hair for a living.
