Hey, does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced didgareedoo (probly spelled it wrong) or if they are easily made, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ~Matt
i met a dude who made one out of a big PVC pipe. he cut a wedge out of it so it could be squeezed into a long slight cone shape....then he puttied it w/ car putty. it sounded really good, but it's not like the traditional aussie type. i don't have any other info. sorry. good luck!
Yeah, you can make one out of PVC really easily, don't even need to cut it or make it cone shaped at all, straight works fine.... All you have to do is make a sort of mouthpiece with wax or whatever, just so it fits your mouth... Also I know lark in the morning sells them, they have bamboo ones that are innexpensive, and some other cheaps ones...
My brother got a good one when we were last in Australia. Usually the ones that have the best sound are the ones that are naturally hollowed out by termites. I believe most are.
