    It IS in Indonesia. It's nowhere near the Phillipines. It's closest to Australia.

    I'm guessing Malta then. Never been there.

    It can't be Rhodes since El Duce wouldn't've vacationed there.

    Oh, wait it HAS to be Rhodes, since the collosal monument, must've been the Collosus of Rhodes! :)

    Rhodes it is.
    You're right in that Mussolini didn't actually make it to the island but he did have the Palace of the Grand Masters renovated in order to be his summer home (if you ever make there you'll notice that the curators will avoid saying the 'M' word at all costs)
    The obsolete clues in the original photo - the old city wall and a deer, which is considered an emblem of the island.

    I've actually been to Rhodos, a long time ago. It was really weird cause the ferry stopped there for a couple of hours which turned out to be siesta time or a holiday and the streets were completely empty, everything was closed, it was like a ghost town! So I got a real weird impression of that place!

    I'll post a pix from that stop in Rhodos when I find it and get it scanned. :)

    That's a toughie Driftwood. Without a landmark, it's difficult. Could be somewhere from Thailand to Vietnam to China.

    I'll guess southern Thailand (though it could be Guilin China for that matter)
