I haven't been kicked out of places for being barefoot - lucky me... however, there's a barefoot college sophomore named David Wisotsky, who won't take it anymore and now fights the power, so to speak: http://www.vermontcynic.com/news/th...ut-on-shoes-for-anyone-1.2656531#.TqI7snJM1Jn Wiggling bare toes, having been a constantly barefoot college student in the past, too, ~*Ganesha*~
man when the hell are people going to get past the notion that bare feet are unsanitary, when most everyone washes their feet once or sometimes even twice or three times a day (at least 2 times for me)? And how often do others wash their shoes? Yeah, didn't think so.
Went to Cici's pizza today with my wife and son. We payed and started getting our food when a guy said I had to have shoes to be inside the building. My wife and son had already started getting their food so I didn't have much choice, had to go get my flops. I was pretty pissed about it to say the least. </rant>
I just e-mailed a complaint to GuestServices AT cicispizza DOT com In the e-mail I mentioned that I would be asking everyone who lives a barefoot lifestyle on the forums I frequent to never visit a Cici's Pizza location as long as a shoe requirement is enforced.

Got thrown out of BJ's today. Stopped to see a friend (who worked there), when the manager walked up and said "Have I not talked to you about this before?" and pointed at my feet. He kept trying to make himself look taller and bigger, and had another manager with him, as if I was some kind of security threat. According to my friend, he stayed in one spot, watching me to make sure I actually left. Needless to say, I will not be shopping there again.
