see, what happens is that when your personal favorite people take off and no one responds to your jokes you inevitably feel the urge to post a thread like this one.

Chrissy is still working at the perservation without the internet... she probebly went back home for the holydays though... I would hope.

How's School going for ya? I've been a little buzy for these forums lately, but I still try to pop in every now and then.

Hope you're doing well. I gotta go to karate here in a sec. If I get in early I get to mess around with the people in Akido. Somehow lots of hot girls in Akido, none in Karate. Makes me sad.

School is wonderful... classes are going great and I am very involved in the political and music scene here.

I myself only visit the forums around once a month. Right now I am sick off my ass because of being a hippie ( or in other words... smoking too much weed and lowering my immune system ) so I decided to visit the forums.

Back in '95, when I joined the Hipfora (they were actually called the Hipfora, but a popular voting decided to change it to the Hip Forums. That is where things started to get worse) things were much better. People were nicer, conversations were deeper and livelier, posts were more thoughtful, food was tastier. Heck, even the sun shone a little brighter.

I actually don't think they forums have gone downhill to be honest. It's largely a different group of people now, but the newer people don't seem any less cool than the old timers.

I think what's really going on is that us old timers are bored. The threads never really change. So, superficial and silly topics that were fun 5 years ago are just redundant now. Personally, I had gotten to the point for a while where it was psychologically painful to come to this site. So I took a year off, and now, it's kind of fun again. Some of the more interesting personalities don't post anymore, but they've been replaced by other interesting personalities.

If you had to pin me down to a point where the forums peeked though, I would have to say it was Jugg's boobie thread.
