I'm alright where I am but I do sometimes hanker after a small village I was in in Dominica. I am thinking about returning at some point just don't know when. The not too distant future hopefully.
I sort of really like where i'm living now. But otherwise, and I probably will in the not so distant future- Montreal.
I would like to see what it's like in LA, but I have spent a lot of time in Paris, so I'll move there eventually.
norway. great standard of living. the whether would be somethign to get used to.. i always think of a place i'd want to be in an international crisis. the nordic states are where it's at.
I've been to Norway. Some of the greatest Natural beauty i've ever seen. I've been to Norway, Sweden and Finland, all brilliant. What sort of international crisis are you referring to. however?
Too many places have crossed my mind. Ideally, somewhere in Europe, where I can have a small tract of land to live simply and raise a family. Poland perhaps. Germany or Austria would be my first choice, but it's too expensive.
Check out the Azores, an autonomous region of Portugal, we're part of Europe but on an Island 2000Km from Europe.
I have this crazy dream that when I go to Shambhala music fest in BC I won't come back to live in ontario and i'll stay in bc... I wish it could workout that way
I'd like to live somewhere like LA, but I'd end up missing my hometown, Macclesfield in England. Where every it'd be, I'd love it to have a music studio and maybe a little gym. Australia looks pretty cool too.
I really would love to live in New York or somwhere in England. I've already lived in San Francsico, Kansas City, Nashville, Lexington, & Miami. I've actually never even been to New York or anywhere north of it in the North East, but I just know I would love it!
anywhere i can have a farm nestled between the mountains and the sea. before i settle down into that country lifestyle i would really really like to live in NYC for a year. i love the idea of walking out of an apartment building and being able to walk anywhere, or catch a train anywhere. i hate driving. NYC has such a good energy too.
Right where I am. A small community where people know you and greet you by name. Lots of hippies, both the old farts from way back when and young whippersnappers. Some non-hip people just to make life interesting. Enough land to grow my own veggies and a woodlot to grow my own heating fuel. Organic farms nearby where I can buy what I don't grow myself. Small enough that I can walk or bike to the store. A Buddhist meditation centre down the road. Walking distance to the beach. No, you can't move here! arty:
If you're young my advice is don't hesitate, go. The North Island is great and the South Island is my favourite place on earth.
If I had the money I'd settle for a place right around Peekskill, NY. I'd be surrounded by rolling hills, forests (Bear Mountain state Park), historic architecture, I'd only be an hour away from NYC/Jersey(home), and the weather would be ideal (I love snow and vibrant fall foliage) I also love wildlife, and whenever I'm around that area I see deer prancing around in groups, chipmunks running along fences, and so many different species of birds chirping away. This probably won't be the case until I grow well into my 30s- For now, I like the chic urban areas of NYC, Hoboken/Jersey City, Boston, Philadelphia etc.
