    What I really can't figure out is was Charlie's character on Two and Half Men based on Charlie Sheen's actual life, or did Charlie Sheen's actual life devolve into that of his character.

    If you know anything about Charlie's history since high school, you'll know it's based on his life. That was the original premise of the show and the main source of material for it. You can be sure Chuck Lorre's life isn't like Charlie's...

    BTW, after Charlie was interviewed recently by Piers Morgan, Piers said "Charlie just came into the studio 5 minutes before air time, got "powdered up", and sat down for the interview." You should've seen the CNN anchor's jaw drop when he said that. I'm pretty sure he meant face powder, and didn't realize that it could also mean getting coked up... So there was some ambiguity there.

    As far as I can see, Charlie either looks like he's coked up all the time, or wishing he was...
