Yes, b.c when cigarettes first became legal they had to like go through this thing and sign shit saying that they wont make anything thats like flavorful that would make kids want to smoke... I had to do research on it last year for school.
I think that's a ridiculous reason for outlawing flavored tobacco. I simply cannot see how because they are flavored, they are automatically marketing to kids. I'm not seeing any slogans or campaigns with sketchy hidden tones.
Yeah but that comes from the public basically telling them to control all aspects of life. Well, the current generation anyway. They say the government should be doing this and that, taking care of the dregs of society by making laws, and then these people freak out when they find something they don't like that's not illegal...
its definitely absurd that the government is trying to control something like this... but is it really surprising?
i want flavored tobacco for the shells, the cardboard cuttings inside go in the trash although, i have taken a liking to honey
when i was a teenager Camel used to have a crazy line of exotic blends... with just about any flavor you can imagine (pina colada, mango, berry etc etc).. came in stylish and colorful tin packages too.. i think that was that start of all this bullshit.. i remember a few years after that they got pulled from shelves for being "too appealing to kids"... now they are going after any flavored tobacco for the same reason.. i dont smoke anymore, but i think its totally fucked up what they are trying to do..
the whole appealing to kids argument is retarded. Just like drug education in schools...had I never had drug education I wouldn't have known about drugs. The education system got me interested in drugs more than anything.
i hear you man.. its silly.. too appealing to kids.. kids arent supposed to be able to buy cigs anyways, so what gives? to me, its more like they are trying to take away your right to smoke... all cigarettes are made for adults, and when you are 18 anybody should be able to make their own choice as to whether or not they want to smoke cigs.. they are trying to influence a personal decision that everybody has the right to make by eliminating a bunch of products most people would find satisfying... you dont see them trying to get rid of malt beverages like bacardi or wine coolers because they taste good (to some people anyway).. and alcohol is just as destructive as tobacco..
Here let me Google that for you. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=middleton's+black+and+mild+wine&aq=f&oq=&aqi=
As it always will be when Black and Milds are involved I still can't stop laughing at the fact that the op wants to order these to straight smoke instead of putting weed in there. Pipe tobacco "cigars" taste fucking terrible, but to each their own method of getting cancer.
