but back to the OP I been trying to get some black tight leather pants possibly for the Iron Maiden concert coming up........so yes I do dress metal at times let it be me going to Burger King with my Helloween or Death shirt.....I rep HARDCORE.
the only "METAL" clothing I own is 8-10 band shirts/hoodies. I don't even wear half of them ever. NO tattoos, No peircings, just jeans or khakis, t shirts or button up shirts, whatever k-mart has on special.
Only thing that people could consider metal about me in daily life is my hair Edit: And my drinking horn of course
I wear lots of different things, I like plain colored shirts but, some of my clothing happens to be band t-shirts, so occasionally they get worn, as I wear whatever I feel when I look at my clothing in the morning. Sometimes its a band shirt, why be ashamed of the things you love? Sport your flags.
My favorite metal band is Tool. I listen to some other bands but not very frequently. The only metal band attire I have is my Tool 10,000 days t-shirt.
From here on out in the vast lands of hipforum you shall forever be known as...the "Teletroll". Legend speaks of a vile creature whom wonders the vast cyber plains of hipness teleporting into threads to troll all whom cross it's path!
I dress like a nerd but I love death and black metal. Partly because I also am into Tegan and Sara so it would be weird if I bought one of their records in an Obscura shirt.
There ya go J ! Superfreakin tight black leather pants so tight they "swoosh " when you walk by from the friction of your thighs rubbing together . With the butt cheeks cut out of em . No band shirt , just paint the band name in this case MAIDEN AND EDDIE RULES , on your chest and back . A rolled up sock stuck down the front crotch for big bulge effect, eye candy for the randy chick's . Guaranteeing you ain't going home alone from row three after the encore . Oh shit dude ! Van shoes made a pair of vans with IRON MAIDEN on em . They had a picture of eddie on the front top by the toes . I think they were for only a limited time , but man they were COOL AS SHIT ! I'll see if I can still find them on the web . They are rare and awesome , and would be GREAT for when you go to the concert . You lucky dog ! Have a blast man !
I have one Motorhead t-shirt with the cover from Orgasmatron on it which is on it's very last leg. Aside from that, what I look like is nothing like the scene in the pit. Most people probably look at me and assume I'd like Yanni or the top 40, lol. I was actually playing in a metal 3 piece band, I was the youngest at 36 with the other guitarist 37 and the drummer 48 and we all wore jeans and wifebeaters. I usually wore a beat to shit yellow baseball cap that had the RAF insignia on it that I got from the giftshop of the CN Tower. And our music was a weird metal hybrid kinda like pantera meets guns and roses, sort of. But definitely without Slash's solos, I still can't shred even close to that.
I dunno, Dont almost all shirts advertise something? I think the over the top metal look is kind of irritating, but I like wearing band shirts.
Most. But you can pay extra to have a white T :2thumbsup: I love wearing my Ween shirt (only band shirt I've ever owned). I dream of the day when I meet a fellow fan that way. And I knew a jitney that only wore Deep Purple shirts, and that made him really awesome to me even though we never actually talked. But anyone that only wears metal shirts looks like a poser that watches too much Metalocalypse.
