When You Hear Certain Songs...

What do you visualize when hear certain songs? Post the song and images that come to mind. Certain songs make you think of things that have happened in the past, certain people (famous or infamous), etc. The words don’t always go with what you visualize- maybe the instrumentals in the music take you to another place in your mind.

If I could make my own videos to these songs I would use the images I post with them. Listen to the songs on another device while looking at the images- and see how it all comes together

Here’s one song that immediately came to mind when Columbine happened in ‘99, and everytime there’s a school shooting, this song comes to mind.

 

Well I'll have to think about it but! Film clips never ever ever in the history of universe go anything like I imagine in my head and my own imagination is infinitely better.

 

Whenever I hear this song for some reason I'm immediately reminded of the TV show desperate housewives

 

i don't know if i can really do this one. most songs that give me images, give me images of specific people or events from my past. nothing i'm likely to find on youtube (i hope anyway).

I get that too because some songs remind me of the people I listened to it with or specific things I was doing at the time.

Like okay. I can do this I just need to get the song.

I had the Mortal Kombat soundtrack lol. It introduced me to Fear Factory.

Anyway, this song always reminds me of my wife when we were wayyyy young still. And I would listen to this song in my room a lot for some reason and like I'd get all emo and sad that I wasn't with her. Feelings of puppy love, ya know when you're a dumb young teen and you first fall in love lol. And I still get that same weird feeling through my body when I hear this 15+ years later.

Haven't heard any of their other stuff.

I'd probably be embarrassed to blast that in my truck in public. my quiet little home town cops a lot of bullshit blasting out of my truck most days.

I remember once I was listening to cradle of filth on a drive through the forest up from home and I said to my wife.. You know what? I bet these trees have never heard Cradle of Filth before.

 

Oh and when I hear Disturbed - Down with the Sickness, I only remember this porn I watched when I was teen of amateur teen porn with that song playing as the theme music to the movie.

 

I know Scarborough Fair was based on an old English folk song, but for me it invokes memories of Fall in New England (not old England) with our many fall festivals and fairs

 

When I hear Juke Box Hero by Foreigner, I think of Chuck Norris

I visualize a cold winter morning when I hear it.

 

There’s this tv show called The People’s Court that’s been playing since the 80s. I heard the same intro to that show on a porno, LOL!

 

I love this version.

 

Whenever I hear a breakdown in a song I I feel the need to start screaming to go along with it. xD

 

This song always reminds me of an ex who had hurt me pretty bad.
