The story reads like propaganda. Anyone who knows an X head has seen a bible gripping weirdo. It seems like whomever wrote this story took some details from a bunch of people's lives and just threw 'em together. My brother dropped acid pretty consistently for months until he dropped a 10 strip and thought he could get signs from 'God' if he sat in the right seat of the car he just broke into. He was later diagnosed as bipolar and I can say that this wasn't caused by drugs but precipitated by them. If you do your homework you'll know that according to the scientific community, drugs aren't the cause of psychiatric disorders but merely a symptom. If what this gentelman is saying is true, these are symptoms that were preexisting and brought to light with psychotropic drugs. Again, I don't think any of it is true. Someone with hallucinations as strong as he's describing probably wouldn't be able to type a straight sentence. His grammar is fine, unless he had someone proof read it. And the proof reader is probably a fellow church goer. Meh, who is to say? I think the important thing we can all draw from this thread is that Acid is a serious TOOL. And if you don't measure twice, you're gonna cut your fucking arm off. Regardless of experience, regardless of age, regardless of tolerance, blah blah blah. What I don't understand is how a tired old worn out hippy like that guy up there can be such an asshole. I thought the spirit of acid was peace and all that jazz. For someone who has been in the scene for '20 years' he's definetely rude and condescending.
The guy is just stupid. Simple truths of human existence: -You can read everyones thoughts, or rather you can feel there vibrational energy which is controlled by their thought. Being able to piece together the actual metaphors they are applying to their underlying vibrations is a true talent and we call these people 'psychics'. But even if you can't accurately piece together the words, metaphors and images people are attaching to their vibrations in their body, you can still "feel" the vibration and accurately feel how to navigate around there metaphors. -This goes in reverse, EVERYONE can feel everything you do and everything you think, at all times and at all distances. But up close they can tell its you, that clump of physical human matter, that this is resonating from. You carry everything you do, think, see, make, feel, experience in your flesh and it radiates out from you. -There is no god, because we are god. If your not going to utilize the creative energy of the universe to fabricate a godly existence either through your body or channeled through artwork, no God will exist. The guy didn't have a bad trip, he just figured out the truth and realized he sucked as a human representation of God. He was to afraid to admit that yes, everyone is SUPPOSED to be a messiah, we exist to make the energy of harmony flow, this is all a messiah does. This is what thousands of artists do today. It is a purpose of human existence, you don't have to be Jesus to do this, can you just be a really good artist or inspirational whatever. -Trees are very alien living things, all physical existence is living. It is all connected to the same 'mind' that we ourselves are, everything is just as alive as us. -Also the fact he marks all that with the pervading 'serpent' and spiralling signifies to me that this insight was sparked by the kundalini and this was his first time experiencing it. How he managed to get through some 50 acid trips and not visit kundalini in full till then is beyond me. That thing beat my ass on just my first one. It also made me realize nearly all the same things he has, but I'm not stupid like him to think my world is falling apart. I have heard it can take kundalini as long as 30 years to burn through the ill parts of some people if there truly twisted about. My suspicion, this guy is gonna wake up in some years straightened out, ready to accept his direct connection with the source of all energy and thank lsd for finally revealing to him the truth of reality. He most certainly is not an acid causaulty. He is a causaulty of the shitty metaphors society put into him up till the point he found LSD and had his vist with the serpent. I would say he is just on the starting road of being an LSD victor. The only lessen to be learned from him is, if you aren't willing to trust your emotions, if you arent willing to trust your nervous system, if your not willing to accept your connection to the source, if your not willing to love your existence, if your not willing to fully believe in your personal intelligence and power. Your not ready to do LSD.
You know, once upon a time I saw a dragon spiralling that turned into origami. This all happened with my eyes closed and I was on shrooms. I never understood the relationship between these visions and 'kundalini' up until now. In fact this is the first I've heard of kundalini and what I've read so far seems right.
yah kundalini is a great metaphor with alot of very valuable wisdom attached to it, but don't forget thats exactly what it is, metaphorical information held in the depth of your being, you can re-tool and reinterpret it to be and operate differently if you wish to.
I wish I could remember what was going through my mind when I saw the dragon. It probably had some sort of importance. Dah well! Next time.
Your gatherings are then dangerous. To who are you giving acid then? I have been to some gatherings seeing people drinking from the acid bottles plus many more and nothing but the pure happiness. There is something about collective energy there as well. With such an energy around it's not easy for something to go wrong. For the newcomers you never give them heavy drugs in unreasonable amounths for them. And to the doubtful, fearfull and people who don't know who they are you don't give them at all. I am younger than you and maybe not "experienced" as you are but why sending a constant fear across this forum. I have met people older than you and maybe even "more experienced" but never I could sense or hear the fear from them. Surely LSD can trigger pre-existing conditions. I myself was triggered once not with LSD but while on LSD. I was triggered by something that happened and that would anyway trigger me in my life even if I'm not on LSD. Yes, the emotions you are having are even more than 1000 times bigger. But seven years after taking LSD this guy can't get a grip of reallity. That's a covardness. It's so easy to say oh LSD did fuck up my life. Grow up and be responssible for your actions. So what do you do when you catch yourself thinking that others can read your toughts or emotions? It's very difficult when person doesn't love himself. I have the same feeling with some people. You feel almost like naked except it's not about the clothes you have on. Is it something terrible that you feel and think something that you should be ashamed off and it must be hidden from everyone? I'm not going to go more into this subject. Don't have anything against you Soaringeagle but there is something "fishy" about what you said with your previous posts.
ok since all of u people are saying "its not the acid its not the acid" i would love to see some of u eat like 25 hits or so at once and then come back and tell me it hasnt left ur brain in a fucked up loop. i think u guys are getting me all wrong here. dont get me wrong i love acid man.....ive done it a bunch of times and its my favorite drug. and u say "its just a drug" but u know what? heroin and meth and crack are all JUST drugs too, fuck u dont even have to go that far to get fucked up for life......xanax and other perscription drugs that are LEGAL can fuck u up if u over do it! and if u over do it 1 time u can be perminatly fucked up for life or dead (not that acid can kill u because i know its hard to OD on it) but ive seen people who just trip to fucking much man and they just arnt the same any more they are just crazy delusional people. im not feeding all the government propoganda. im not saying u can get sent into a permatrip or anything like that. what im saying is that acid isnt something to be taken lightly....it will fuck u up if u take it enough or over do it one time, and im not telling u this because its what i believe or its what i think. im telling u this because its what i have witnesses.....with my own 2 eyes. this is my last post,u can choose to believe me or not,but the bottom line is that your fucking with a double sided sword peace
You know what, I just re-read the original post and there is something that is really not right here. It's obvious that some people who are posting here want to make it seem like these types of things really happen, but these posters are clearly mistaken. One quote that I did enjoy, simply because I can't sort out whether or not it has any narrative merit was, ' it was a moderate summer evening in my hometown. Neither cool nor warm. The kind of unremarkable temperature that only strikes you as forgettable.' This quote taken out of context could be considered amusing satire, poking fun at the 'it was a dark and stormy night' cliche. Unfortunately, the writer seems to be trying to convince us in earnest. Then you've got the Crazy drummer guy coming in, telling us to 'get with the program' a few posts later, then making a totally different thread to get the grumpy old hippy soaringeagle into it to make us 'get with the program.' Whoever wrote the trip report (I acknowlege that the original poster didn't write it) really seems to be describing what happens to someone who is already really crazy and takes very small doses of acid, and maybe a bunch of meth too. Just some thoughts, peace and love.
Also, I don't think anyone here takes acid lightly, they just take issue with it being demonized and blamed for people's failures in life or mental health issues. I think that sometimes people take acid, realize that they don't want to be a part of a corrupt capitalistic society, then sort of drop out, eventually losing interest in acid and maybe have some kids and a wife, then all of a sudden when they want to get a nice big house to make the family happy and it becomes clear that they haven't been paying into their 401(k) and IRA accounts (to our friends in Europe and other continents, these are retirement plans) and their credit is either bad or nonexistant, they get bitter and want to find something to blame. That's when they blame the drugs. It's like they forget that they learned that growing up shouldn't mean growing richer and selling out.
wow sheer your posts just keep getting more and more retarded. im not even gonna reply anymore. besides the fact that ive personally seen people drop 30+ hits and be fine.
I think the beauty of the drug that is LSD, is that so many people have so many different purposes for taking it. Other drugs such as cocaine, heroin..etc.. have their set effects, and you will get just those effects for the time being of its duration. LSD is different, it takes you to the edges of your mind, and some come back, while some don't. And when I say your mind, I do mean YOURs. Different mindsets experience LSD's purpose, what it teaches you, in different ways. So I do believe it is ignorant to say that just because your mindset has yet to experience any negatives of the LSD experience, that it really can't cause any negatives to others reality, to their mindset. It is also equally ignorant to say that LSD is the devil's drug, that the mindset it leaves you with can permenently fry your reality. Neither are true. LSD is what it is, a drug as powerful as today's religion. Just my two cents.
thats a good post...im not telling anyone to not do acid...shit u can trip ur brains out for all i care. (ive done my fair share)its a shit load of fun,and maybe some people get good otu of it,but it can also fuck ur head up if u do to much
crazydrummer, I doubt people will be convinced by anything you say if you are basing it on what you perceive with your "own two eyes." one thing we tend to learn from cid is that our own two eyes have the tendency to mislead us, and the longer we trust them, the harder it is to extricate ourselves from their distorted narrative of events they tell. you make many good points, but everyone bases their assertions on what they personally perceive, and that is at best only part of the available truth equation
