Since energy drinks have gotten more and more popular I've also noticed that the can sizes have also gotten bigger. They should come in a fuckin 2L!! Seems like a good idea except flat energy drink is nasty. I'm sure one of those would be pretty expensive tho.

2L? i was thinking more along the lines of a 44 gallon drum.

(and they probably do ship it in those, somewhere)

(or even a railroad tank cars, like the do flavor syrups, and of course corn syrup)

^^^it's just caffeine, a damn starbucks latte grande has more caffeine than three 8 oz red bulls.

The recent hysteria about energy drinks is grossly unfounded IMO

PS Rockstars taste better than Red bull at less than half the price.
I like 'em because they aren't as sweet as regular sodas and unlike most, they use sugar instead of corn syrup.

The hysteria is from kids having to much alcohol with thier energy drinks. And i dont think those kids that died were only drinking but if thats what the news reports then it becomes fact to the masses.

I drank them a few times with vodka when they came out and I drank. Kinda liked them, Until I was spastic, Puking out of the back of a truck at hardees. I was amped and puking like a champ until the crash.

Long term, Same effects as amphetamines just churched up as 'natural'. People who drink them, usually do all day.

Might be natural and lower caffeine, But manipulated caffeine and natural items to boost and multiply effects. But time will tell, been ten years or so and most I know, Drink them constant all day, Or not at all. So who knows, Not for me, To each their own.

I have noticed the exact opposite. I only know one person that drinks them all day. I can see someone havinh a long day and needs to stay alert loading up on them at the end of the day. Most of the people i know around here drink coffee and everyone drinks different amounts and different strengths.
Me personally i wont drink them unless i need to stay awake or if its friday. Lately i havnt had the redbull or the clones of them. I been going with mio or the packets of powder you put in a 17-20 oz water bottle. Instead.

I try not to drink Rockstar because it's relationship with radio host Micheal Savage, Micheal Savage I will point out, had a gay affair with Allen Ginsberg.

    Also I like your dog!

I think energy drinks taste amazing!!

The other day I bought a "Non-Caffeinated Energy Drink", which is a bit of an oxymoron but it was late and didn't really need the energy...drank purely for the taste, and it was delicious. Can't remember what it was called or what store it was where i bought it. All I remember is that it came in 2 or 3 flavors but can't remember which one I had i just picked the one that looked/sounded the most appealing to me at the time.

It did seem to give me a bit of a lift but not sure if it was just in my head but I thought it tasted better than some other popular energy drinks. Light, not too sweet and citrusy, somewhat similar to red bull.

I think the sugar free energy drinks are probably better also than the ones with all that high fructose corn syrup and sugar, since the sugar is going to cause a crash in addition to the one from the caffeine itself

I don't know why they call them energy drinks, because they don't give you energy that lasts for any substantial length of time -- at least not for the price you pay for them. You get about a 30 minute sugar rush, followed by a crash that leaves you with even less energy than you had before drinking it. I used to be among the fools who drank this garbage, but am glad I gave it up and am no longer wasting my money on such toxic swill. It's very bad stuff, and it reeks havoc on the body. Not good. Why not just drink coffee, or better yet eat real food that gives you hours of real energy?

I can't drink that stuff, one can has me awake all night. I used to have one at the start of a night out for the very purpose of keeping me clubbing all night.

I think Redbull tastes like shite, too.
