when/where do you usually think of your Best random thoughts?

when/where do you think of your Best random thoughts?
in the shower?? just while you're on hipforums already? etc?
and then do you immediately think, I should go post this on hip?..
or do you ponder it a lot before posting?
what's a step by step process of what starts as your random thought that then becomes it's very own thread?

 

When I can't sleep.
If I post something I usually just consider is it something I want to share, which means it's news I want to share or something I find funny.

 

so do you post the random thought while you're having trouble sleeping or do you post it at a later time when you remember it again?

 

1) some shit comes to my mind
2) I realize that it is worth posting
3) I post it

on the bus, but then i forget them by the time i get on a computer.

 

I just had a random thought. I was gonna ommit the part of my op where it says 'step by step process.' I realized that might discourage people from replying. Nobody wants to provide a step by step guide, right? Kinda annoying and time consuming unless you really enjoy explaining things..

When I can't sleep, when I'm not paying attention in class (I usually write poetry or daydream) and when I'm waking up.

 

Anytime when I'm not by a computer... usually at night when I'm reading a little before bed I'll have a thought of two and think "oh i really should post about that"...and sometimes I do later but more often I don't. (usually I'm too lazy to sit and think out what I thought about into actual typed words-at a later time).

 

1) In my car
2) At work
3) In bed, when I cannot get to sleep

Almost never when sitting in front of the computer, unfortunately.

 

I get all my Random Thoughts when I am at this website. All threads and posts are impulsive and never have I thought of something when not on this website that I felt like posting here.

Both...depends on how bad the sleeplessness is I suppose.

 

on a big flat rock out in the woods, or sitting infront of this computer, or going to sleep, waking up, or dreaming, in bed. also most places that are reasonably quiet of human voice noise that would otherwise annoy and distract me from doing so.

Yeah Ive heard people(strange ones admittedly) claim they have their ideas like that. Well minus the devil bit.
But apparently your digestive system does have an interrelationship with your brain. Hence the saying "gut feeling".
