When was rep turned back on?

Who gives a fuck about rep? If I'm understanding this correctly it's just people think you're great so they give you a point and whoever has the most points, uh... what's the point again?

well the point is to add yet another hook or gimmick that encourages the majority to participate and feel good about being judgmental and popular...ultimatley keeping users active and around long enough so they can either;

1. donate money to the site
2. see the advertisements here and buy something
3. realize how unnecessary it is and turn it off

money.

Woah deja vu. This is how it went for me:

 

you can give someone good rep for doing something you like, such as sharing her beauty with us in her sigpic
or you can give them bad rep for flaming or whatnot
but really, people only give rep at random times, so it is stupid =)

Then some people turn up on there without a comment,
But not everyone.

yeah, I get why it was turned back on- and vaguely get the purpose because I have seen similar on other boards- but can we see peoples rep, or just our own??

 

Hell yes, now we have a bar to measure our e-peens with!


...and naed we can, just hover over the green bar and you get a comment on members rep status.
