I still don't understand what the problem is. You are describing a scenario where you no longer exist. This is not good, or bad. You also did not exist 200 years ago, 500 years ago, 4,000 years ago, 600,000 years ago, or 7 billion years ago. You will also not exist a few decades from now, or earlier.

Please explain to someone who is slow what the problem is.

Its quite obvious to most of us that you're just not thinking about it. I don't mean think as in mull over the superficial details, or your initial impressions of the scenario, but really dwell on what it means for you to be dead. Read about death, watch Six Feet Under if you don't mind the lameness at times, come to accept that death is EVERYWHERE and only in modern culture do we sweep it under the rug and live sterile, mediocre lives, sheltered from the harsh realities of nature.

The cure for any anxiety is to think logically about your problem and come to terms with what you can change, and what you cannot change. In you, I see a complete unwillingness to do this. Enjoy your delusions.

 

It's hard telling what life will be like after we die. Truth is, none of us really know. It might be an endless void, as you describe it, or it might be something so grand you would never want to abandon it to reenter life itself, given the chance.
