daith or rook pierced is there a risk of you ear eventually folding there?? that sounds stupid, but its cartilage and i was wondering if it could possibly weaken or break there and your ear wouldnt stay shaped the way it was??? it sounds so stupid... but i am just curious cause i want to do it, but not if its going to be harmful in the far future
well ur body does tend to mold the way u want it to go, especially when there is something hodling it like that, so its a possibility. but who knows?
if the piercing is successfully healed, then no. however, if you get a bad enough infection between the layers of cartilage, then yes. there is something called 'ear collapse', its when the infection deteriorates the surrounding cartilage. however, this is quite uncommon.
