Much as I will happily groom hair any way to please my wife, and encourage her that there would be even more oral if she reduced her pubic hair, it feels like an immovable object.

so I’m wondering what the chances are of her hair naturally receding… any ideas? She’s 44.

open to any ideas of how else I could suggest some grooming to her. Even a trim would be nice… I’ve already told her ‘I will if you will’ about trimming and shaving (I already trim neatly anyway though)

I have seen 60 and 70 y/o women on nude beaches with plenty of pubic hair, so I don't think your chances of it receding are very good.

Ah shame, not much hope then! I’ll see what other strategies I can come up with then to persuade my wife to tidy things up.

Go down on her more. I always end up with pubic hair between my teeth, with hairy women. So you will take a few every time. before long it will thin out.

  5. From my first hand very limited experience, it can begin to thin out for some women in their 60's.

Let me know if you have any luck. I find pubes irritating and repulsive. I decided a couple of years ago that I was sick of them on myself, and started trimming them. I started with a battery operated Gillette Fusion one. It lasted about 2 sessions then stopped working. Even after a new battery was put in, it wouldn’t work. Then I stupidly tried another. Same thing and this time I got my money back. Total garbage. Then I got a rechargeable Philips trimmer with numerous attachments, including a bodyshaving one. It has been excellent, I use it every 3-4 weeks, and have never nicked myself with it.

My wife will have a minor tidy up down there now and then, I think with a combination of shaving foam & razor and scissors. I’ve offered repeatedly to use my trimmer on her and she’s not interested. I don’t understand this refusal. It would result in a much neater job as she only does what she can easily see and reach, whereas I would do a more thorough job. She has it in her head that it will leave her all stubbly, I keep telling her it’s a trimmer, not a razor. You take off only as much as you want, and leave it comfortable, yet far shorter and neater than her current half arsed method.

I don’t get why it’s such a big deal to her to even let me try it once. I’ve told her how much better it feels having it trimmed low, and even offered to do it.

She might just like it.....I tried for years to get her to do it. When she finally did, she loved it smooth. I used to get "oh what will the doctor think??" Oh, he will think - there's one lucky husband...!

LOL! Same here, Two. My wife keeps hers shaved unless she's anticipating a trip to the OB/GYN. She says it's embarrassing to go with no hair down there.

I’m amazed that some women would feel self conscious about going to the doctors with short, neatly trimmed hair. Surely the doctor would think that more normal than a massive overgrown bush

Oh, please, they've seen everything under the sun and I'm sure they see far more smooth than bush on anyone under 70.......they probably play pubic hair bingo behind the nurse's station tho....

I’m pretty sure it falls out when you’ve gotten just a little too close to that plutonium sphere.

Well I'm just over 50 lol and still have to keep my bits trimmed. Although I no longer have any under arm hair! It just stopped growing a couple of years ago. Maybe my Lady garden will be next:confused:
