What do you consider old I am 61 years old and I think I am old, is it just age, asin my minds I am just the same as I was at 20.

I'm not sure we ever become really wise. Perhaps closer to "wise" as we age - but then there's the deterioration of mental clarity that often comes with aging as well, and that can certainly throw a wrench into that notion (can you say "dementia"?).

What is old? Depends on who you ask. A 25-year old will probably consider a 61-year-old to be old. But a 95-year-old might not see it that way at all.

All I know is that at 61, you will probably enjoy sexual activity with a 21-year-old chick rather than with a 61-year-old chick. Some things just don't change, know what I mean.

There are plenty of old fogeys around, but I have known a bunch of young fogeys. They were a drag to be around.

With age, I have found that looking back on some of the things I did when young were not very wise...

But would I do things differently?

I do feel that experience has brought a certain wisdom to my actions and reactions.

    How about you?

You are a very wise man. I to have learned along the way. All I can say, it's fun learning and if you learn from your mistakes is it really a mistake or just the learning process. Either way, I am glad to say I have no regrets.

We really should have no regrets about living life honestly and as freely as possible.

I think fear is probably the thing that gets most people down and leads to other issues. Being fearful keeps you from going forward and living life fully.

It's pretty easy to have fear when just saying what you think or feel honestly can get you banned, cancelled, even have everything taken away from you in some cases.

The mob has turned us fearful like never before.

Thanks Zen wise word yet again. I think as you get older, you relies there isn't much to fear any more as we have lived it and each day is a new day.

"When do you become old age wise."
Does being a "wise-ass" count, if so, my grandma started calling me that when I was 12. lol.

    Age is a number,
    Time is an illusion,
    It's not what you know,
    It's how you use it.

You can stop thanking me now. Any more times would be bad luck.

    How's that for wisdom? :grinning:
