When Did You First Find Hipforums?

For me, it was 20 years ago, although I have lost my old accounts and this is a new one.

Much the same. Not sure how I found it. That was back when I was still hip. I think.

 

Thank you gradesandattendance321 for starting this thread. I had been thinking of having one of the mods post this topic as a question of the week.

I did a google search on living in a Dodge van. More than a dozen pages in, I saw one called “21 Years in Living in a Dodge Van” I clicked on it and it took me to hip forums. After spending hours reading the entire thread, I started poking around the site. Was very impressed with the diversity of topics here.

 

99 or 2000 I just typed in hippy or hippies and here I be.

 

Oh thanks for the welcome. I recognize/remember scratcho...the others I don't recall, however, it's fun to be back and so glad this place is still relatively the same (or so it seems so far)!

I remember reading that same thread. Good story. Many of us just have new aliases. Unfortunately many good people who shared Their lives here have passed on.

I came by The Hip Forums in 2021, I think. I wanted a sex forum and this is what I found.

2012 - it was after a google search for whether people preferred receiving or giving oral sex.

 

I got my first computer in 02 so it was shortly after that. This is, I think, my fifth account. I forgot my info a couple of times and was punted a couple of times..

 

What you get punted for?

 

I think once for posting certain pictures in the wrong thread and once because one of the dorks that ran this forum didn’t like my political posts.
I don’t know why I came back. Just to see what and who is still here I guess. And I like to tell the world about my wife and I’s sex life cause it’s so perfect right now. I’ll probably wander off after a while and forget my info again.

 

Sounds like a satisfying sex life leads one to reprioritize their politics. I don't see you posting anything political.

 

Recently back after having my account deleted.
Initially early 2000s I think.
It was and is the only social media I use.
No Facebook, Twitter or anything.

 

Not being a part of the corporate world anymore and living life as it should be lived leads to a better life in general and we are making the best of it.
And now that I’ve taken the time to understand what politics and politicians really are, I don’t give it or them the time of day anymore. Edit; but I did once go to a thread and seen that the guy/gal/group called egger is still posting. That’s what I call a waste of life.
