I see people answer the question. This is online btw. They'll say.. New York for example. And the responses are like Oh really? I was just there a few days ago... Or Oh? I only live a few hours away... Dot dot dot. ... It's as if the expression is "geeze had I known maybe we could have hooked up" or "hey we are close lets hook up". Lol. I always think. Oh yeah totally that'll happen.
oh, I went there on vacation 5 years ago and also my third cousin once removed lives there. We have so much in common
I have several relatives who live in northern New Jersey and from their porch you can see the New York Skyline Hotwater
During the Great Northeast Blackout of 2003 I was visiting friends in Connecticut which borders Long Island Sound, so ok it’s a date Hotwater
Sitting On The Porch Watching The Lights Of The New York Skyline Is What I Should Have Said.... Cheers Glen.
If in my own country I tend to say what city. If travelling I say what country first. How else are you suppose to answer that question? The rest is just polite mumble jumble.
a small green planet in a distant galaxy. what does that mean? the soul is a non-physical thing, and being non-physical, it indures, where memories, which seem to require some sort of physical construct, do not. no one is born hating logic, or at least i wasn't. from my first encounter with this world, i knew it was not one i had lived on previously, and knew beyond doubt, that i had lived other lives previously. "where are you from", is one of those generic kinds of questions, that require more specifics, to really understand what is being asked. (like "how are you?", how am i what?)
so why are you online talking to strange men? you obviously have nothing in common with them yourself.
I liked this post but couldn't agree with just 1 thing -- memories being physical?? I like how you said the soul or self is non-physical and endures, which is true, and memories FADE (or do they? I tend to think a lot of memories are permanently stored you just don't have easy frontal lobe access to them because it's not neccessary), but they're totally not physical. What did you try to say there? Otherwise I'd disagree with that. -- I often think we (or I) all live multiple lives. Your 'memory' just gets sort've wiped away, and ultimately I am responsible for the will of mankind for eternity. Hopefully I'll pass on my good morals to the next life. "I think where are you from" -- is an *awe question. As long as you answer a place from the past, it's correct.
It's logical to assume that memories are stored in your brain. Since your brain is physical, everything it contains should also be. Maybe I'm just retarded, I don't know. I just don't understand how a memory could be non-physical. http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/123485-mit-discovers-the-location-of-memories-individual-neurons
