What's your view on prostitution?

It's kind of difficult to make sense when you try to pass your value system off as rational or universal.

There is no such thing, as comforting as the idea might be to some.

My experience was pretty average. I've been with four prostitutes- one of them in Brazil (where it is legal).

They were middling-rates prostitutes--- neither crack-whores, nor Donald Trump type prostitutes. But prostitutes I could not afford on a regular basis. They all looked very attractive to me.

I was pretty lonely. Went. Had the maddening rush of penetrating an attractive woman minutes after meeting her and of not needing to "break a woman down" in order to have sex. And then felt pretty empty, afterwards.

The one exception was the Brazilian prostitute whom I kept in touch with over the phone for 6 months. She opened a sandwich shop in downtown Rio de Janeiro and got married to a former client.

I used a condom in all cases and one of them (the Brazilian one) insisted that we shower together beforehand. Finally, I tested myself for all STDs after 3 months and had none.
