A really small usually run down place that most people would never notice unless they knew it was there. Patrons often have missing teeth and there's good chance of somebody pulling a knife on you.
I think we should take her to a hole in the wall bar. I just hope they don't have holes in their glasses as well.
I usually just get fucked up at home or house parties, but if I go out somewhere it'll be to a metal/punk gig usually.
i like this definition of Dive Bar from urbandictionary "A well-worn, unglamorous bar, often serving a cheap, simple selection of drinks to a regular clientele. The term can describe anything from a comfortable-but-basic neighborhood pub to the nastiest swill-slinging hole." i think of dive bars as just cheap, shitty bars in a tiny town, but not dangerous. if you go to a dive bar with a few of your friends, it's like you own the place. ever see Always Sunny in Philadelphia? that's a dive bar i'm pretty sure
hey there! there are some fun dive bars out there. just sayin. never quite know what you're gonna find.
there's this hole in the wall here called the wheelie bar. bikers are always doing lines of blow right off the bar. and there's fights in the parking lot sometimes. funny shit.
Hahaha.... well, dive bars are any kind of small place that can be kinda shady or something. there are dive bars in the hood AND in the middle of no where woods I would not wanna walk in hahaha and hey! the wheelie bar is awesome. I used to get free stuff all the time just for showing up there lol
i suppose no one from out of town would particularly enjoy walking into the dive bars in my town either one time i saw an out of towner come in. he walked up, ordered a beer and started glancing around. "i thought smoking wasn't allowed in bars anymore?" bartender laughs "oh they don't allow dogs either" as he points to his laying next to him.
ha yea I think that may have hit the nail right on the head. you gotta sometimes be from there or you're like "what"
I go to about four Classic Rock concerts a year, if I can find any to go see. Last was Dave Mason... Hot Tuna coming up.
^^^my city does this thing in the summer called Party in the Park. i've seen a Led Zep cover band there. Molly Hatchet. some other bands that aren't coming to mind have came to that. it's a $2 (used to be free) concert, outdoors every thursday in the summer.
we have free concerts in the park every sunday in the county beside mine and they have some amazing bands that play... I love, love, love going there
