Whats your position on flag burning?

Because in North America Mother Earth is a father. The realised after decades as they didn't listening Native Indians very long time, just simply exterminating them instead.

Now they have to change it from femail to male as somthing smells there like not washed dick.

 

well, you could put this twist on it: The flag (or rather its rep) is so damaged by today's president and governent, that it needs to be burnt as well.

Of course burning an American flag is disturbing. On the other hand, there are some rebellious teenage communists here that probably don't mind. But they will see the error in their ways.

Although I think flag burning is wrong, we are perfectly within our Constitutional rights to do so.
Burning the US flag is wrong, but what is even more wrong and un-American is for lawmakers attempting to push their morals onto others like with Roe v Wade... The Federal Government has no place in regulating such personal things. These decisions should be made by each state, with elected officials from the state.

When Federal lawmakers and presidents try to legislate their own morality, they might as well be burning a thousand flags themselves.

You know, if you only listened to the pinko mainstream media, you would be right. Of course Our flag represents fascism, ethnocentrism, unwarranted killing, bigotry, and rascism, but give me a flag from a developed nation that DOESN'T represent all of those things.

You aren't gonna hear it from the people that make it their goal to say how much things suck here and how bad our country is, but that flag represents a lot of GOOD also! That flag represents the American Dream. We are the melting pot of the world because so manyy people come here fro m all around the world to escape poverty, famine, or persecution, looking for a better life. If you have traveled abroad, you will find out pretty damn quickly that we have it REALLY EASY here. The wealthy live easy lives in all countries. But here, the average person can live a prosperous and happy life. Life is better here for more people than any where else in the world. Period. That flag also represents social mobility- Poor men can become wealthy men, and vice versa. That flag represents a society that has achieved a greater social equality than anywhere else in the world. In America, the destiny of the young is not given to them, but created by them. That flag also represents a society that has gone farther than any other country to establish an equality of rights.

That flag you hate represents the most virtuous and freest nation on this planet.

Do you have ANY idea how many people have given their lives so that you can have the quality of life you do today???????????

So, why don't you leave the country and spend some time in the third world and then maybe you will understand how GOOD YOU HAVE IT HERE.

You need to broaden your perspective a bit more before you spout off more hate for your homeland again.

Perhaps you also should broaden your perspective b/c you pointed out the good w/o mentioning any of the negatvies that also exist. Some people focus only on the negative, but I think many of us weigh the good and the bad- I find the scale is starting to shift to the negatives. We have lost some of our freedoms. When I get on a public library computer, the gov't is given a list of websites I was on. I hardly call that freedom, when Big Brother is looking over my shoulder. Protesters have been intimedated by the FBI. This country has allowed torture on "terrorists." I see there is still some good, but the negatives are building up and need to be addressed rather than swept under the rug.

The flag represents your nation, your people, its doesn't make any legitimate sense to burn your on country's flag.

Now an enemy nation's flag, I can understand.
