i am a socialist, and i support anarchy, not right now, but someday i would love to see some anarchy implemented..i do vote green but mainly i just vote against liberal and conservative, both parties here in ontario suck shit..i generally vote for the lesser of the evils i am anti-corporation/consumerism but living and believing it are two different things and its often easier to believe it than to actually live it i am an envirolmentalist and a little bit of an activist..i want to actually change the world as opposed to just dreaming of change, however that in itself is a dream i absolutely love abbie hoffman and his woodstock nation some of the stuff they pulled was ingenious um i believe thats it..rock on!
Well, it's obvious the two-party political system in America has failed us. However, it seems to be the only political structure in place, and it seems that if you want to have any real influence you have to choose one or the other. So, I guess at the moment I consider the Democratic party to be the lesser of two evils. I at least support most of their platform.
I'm really anti-Communist, anti-Neocon, anti-radical Liberal, anti-most everything really... I'm pro-Constitution, but there aren't too many of those people in the two majour parties anymore. I really enjoy listening to Russ Feingold speak. I still have no reason to hate Ralph Nader, but the chances of third party candidates winning is miniscule, but its not like your vote really matters (when thrown in with the millions of other votes). I've made a vow to myself to always vote for myself.... but if Feingold runs for Prez, he's got my vote. Or Kucinich, maybe.
Only with war. I hate them when it comes to anything else. I don't like them because I agree with the majourity of their war views.... they just have nice views when it comes to invading soveriegn nations.
Neo-conservatism is soly a foreign policy docterine, in the sense of Wolfowitz. All the social stuff with the conservatives in office now, has to do with conservative/paleo-conservative beliefs.
I tend to fall under the title of libertarian. Socially I am very liberal and i'm fiscally conservative. However, I will probably vote democrat in the next presidential election. Our system has failed, but I still feel the need to vote.
I think i'm Green/NDP leaning ... The situation in Québec is pretty desperate politically ... I mean nobody has interesting measures and policies .. André Boislcair, the leader of the Parti Québecois. is stuck with an hardcore separatist program . Jean Charest (prime minister of québec) just screws up everything he does .. And Mario Dumont is a guy i'd never trust ... There is also the Green Party and Québec Solidaire who are pretty interesting though ... They have almost no chance of winning a single seat though
speaking provincially, I don't know know which way I'm gonna vote next election I don't want the rat-faced bastard in again (Calvert) because he has no idea what he's doing, but I love the NDP But they fucked up some things in Saskatchewan big time Obviously not hte Conservatives... the Green party is cool be has no chance ot get in (I don't even know if they run provincially here) ugh antoine... sucky about the Parti Quebecois... I get the impression they could do some really awesome things for Quebec if they moved off the seperatist agenda for a while at least
Im a card carrying member of the NDP, theyre doing some positive things, mainly keeping the liberals and conservatives in check so we dont end with with a 2 party system like big brother to the south. Im also a socialist so theyre the only mainsteam party that I can relate to. Plus I like layton, hes a stand up guy, if layton changed party's for the right reasons I'd follow him. I would NEVER vote for the green party, NDP scored better on the enviroment category than the greens last year on some test, and the greens are suppost to have that shit on LOCKDOWN. If i was in the US i'd vote democrat, get those crazy money fucking republicans out of office theyve done enough damage, not that the democrats are much better but they wont be starting wars all over the place, BRING BACK JIMMY CARTER!
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/nova-scotia/story/2006/06/08/nsv-environment20060608.html Thats not the one I saw around election time the one I saw had Green A and NDP A+ that link above was just a quick google search
National Marijuana Party. I'd also vote for Denis Kucinich... and Bill Clinton should be crowned King of England.
