YAY Josh!!!! I am the same way. Green party/Pro-environment/anti-corporate funding. I am relatively centrist, though my leanings are left/liberal.
Anymore, I'm mostly apolitical, because caring just gets old when you know you can't change a damn thing. However, I tend to lean more toward the libertarian side. Basically, I (and everyone else) don't need the government to tell me how a live a single damned part of my life.
in 1968 Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin and the other Yippies tried to run a pig as president, named Pigasus or however he spelt that. I had assumed he meant that... But you're probably right.. I just didnt like that book.
I'd be green if they weren't so anti-growth, anti-nuclear. I'd be libertarian if they weren't so anti-taxation, and isolationist. And they both have crazy old white people head the ticket. That part I kinda like. I need my own party.
cause i skipped 4th grade history, which was when i was supposed to learn world history... so i had a hard time trying to figure out who was who.
well.. i would have learned the names of the people. i read the book in grade 11. now that i think about it... its really odd i never took world history.. i was in AP history and honors classes lol.. but i cant tell you shit about Napoleon..
Thanks. I'd at least put lots of smart people around me. That'd make up for how horribly unqualified I am.
hmmm. Could you put me in "pre-emptive" time-out so whatever I do to him has already been punished...? If that makes sense.
Hmmm. I used to consider myself a Democrat but I'm more of a slightly left of center pragmatist. I was living in VT in '00 and actually voted for Jim Jeffords when he was still a Republican. I knew very little about VT politicians but all liberal folks there liked Jim Jeffords and said he was a good honest person that put principles above party as evidenced by his turning Independant. btw: GW's regular Joe good ol' boy schtick is all an act.
