My real name is Jack. I'm named after my grandad. He was pretty cool, despite being a fairly strict southern baptist preacher. Most of my friends call me Jack, but I go by GeminiShaman on the internet, because I am a Gemini (May 24) and like a shaman I like to experiment with a number of substances, especially weed, shrooms, dxm, and morning glory and angel trumpet (dmt). I am also part Cherokee Indian.
my real name is Francesca. i have a number of nicknames: Frenchie, Raphael (i have no idea where that one came from) and Little One (i like that one the best, and that is what most people call me) ... it reminds me that i am just a very small puzzle piece in a large world, and it humbles me. but that doesn't mean i'm so little that i can't make a difference! it reminds me to think of the universe and all it's people and other living things, and not to be selfish or mean. karma's a bitch
oh, GeminiShaman, i love the name Jack. it's one of my favorites. just thought i'd let you know peace and love.
My birth names Jane but since i was a baby my family called me Jenny. When I was in grade 4 I decided that I wanted everyone to call me by my REAL name, I really dont like being called Jenny. At school everyone knows me as Jane now, but my family still call me Jenny lol Oh and my friends sometimes call me Janess, or Janis (coz my dad was going to name me after Janis Joplin, then unfortunately changed his mind) Jane isnt a really 'hippie' name but i still like it =D peace Jane
Stargazer. My favorite thing to do in life is sit alone on a clear night and just think about how things are.
Golden sunshine!! Forget my birth name! My only name now!!! Recieved that name because of my sunshinny smile!! Peace and love sis!!
my name is Robin but I have been called baseball head (by my dad when i was a baby), Rob Bob (also by my dad, NOW), Red (in middle school when I wanted to be Angela from my so called life) and now everyone just calls me Robin again.........................................
Every name has an origin and a meaning! I've never had any reason to adopt a 'hippie name'. It's cliché and purposeless and I'm quite content with my regular one.
I've been told that my name should be Tempest because I have many issues that weigh down my spirit sometimes. I suffer from some mood disorders and such but I find nature is a great help. My dad used to always call me Lucy Goosey. I like that. My parents always call me polish pet names: Perelka (treasure or pearl), it's also my kitty's name so it can be confusing, Dziubki (little beak), Nuiszainka (darling), Veroniczka or Veronisia (cute versions of my name). My real name is Veronica and it means true image. Isn't that nice? I think it's very pretty and heartfelt. A couple friend nicknames I have are: stick, hippiestick, stickfigure, stickychicky and velcro my brothers sometimes tease me and call me chronica haha anyway, I think that's it! ***Call me what ya like just dont call me late for dinner haha (lame joke, I know)*** peace :daisy:
Raven Not my actual name, sadly, but I like it. Traditionally, the raven was the keeper of mystery and magic, a being of great but hidden power. i like that idea. Oh, and Geminishaman, good going on the shamanism. Ever tried ayahuasca? Suppose I could take a leaf out of your book and call myself AquariusShaman
My name is Jillian (how hippielike, haha) But people just call me "hippie" or "dirty hippie"...in a nice way of course :daisy:

My birth name is Tara. It took my forever to like my name, because at first i only knew that i was named after the plantation in Gone With The Wind, but after a bit of research, i found that Tara is actually sanskrit for star and it is the Buddhist goddess symbolizing virtuous and enlightened action. It is said that her compassion for living beings is stronger than a mother's love for her children. Very popular in Tibet. So that's really cool.
